Someone to check up on you

I'm having trouble with figuring out my plan as for someone knowing where I'm going, who I'm meeting with, how long, and checking in on me through the session (I read that as a tip somewhere), etc. It feels like it's almost a job for someone else, and everyone I know is so busy with their own lives. What does everyone do? Who do you have the arrangement with? And what exactly do you do with them to keep you safe? I'm guessing since the main point is for someone to be able to call the police in an emergency, that they don't have to be local? I'm wondering if there are other people like me who are struggling with this area, and maybe this is another paid service that someone could offer. Would any pros be interested in paying $x per appointment or $x per month for someone to keep track of these details and check in before/after (and even during, if desired) to make sure all is well? And contact the authorities in certain circumstances?

  • I have a friend who has the address of where we are cuddling and pic of my client if I don’t call them by a certain time they call me . If I don’t answer they call the police !

It’s really not a lot of work . Some pros will do it for each other as well . I used to do same for a friend who did massages in people’s home .

  • I guess I don't have good enough friends, lol. With my safety involved, I want to know the person is committed to being timely with checking up on me if I don't check in as agreed upon, and I just don't feel that you should expect someone to do that on a regular basis just as a favor. I would be comfortable asking someone to do that once or twice, but if I need that done several times a week to every day for the indefinite future, that then becomes a job. But I could very well be alone in this thinking O:-)

  • I’ve offered to pay friends but they usually say no . I don’t have a problem paying for a service that keeps me safe

  • I would do it for free for any pro that wants help

  • I have 2 people that LOVE ME as my safety people. The fact that these people love me means they are concerned about me and will not forget about me being there and it makes them passionate about keeping me safe. They are my mother and my best friend. I wouldn't trust a service to do that. They also have me GPSed so they can actually watch were I am. They get every piece of info that I have about my clients.

  • I was talking about this in another thread late last night. I came up with a suggestion to maybe use a friend from the site. I'd be willing to help out but definitely couldn't do this for everyone cause that'd be crazy. Lol. I do understand that you feel like you might be inconveniencing someone by asking for this all the time and maybe you'd feel better about asking and they would be more vigilant if they got a little here and there then go for it. It's about your comfort level and most importantly finding someone that you can trust.

  • Sorry if none of that made sense I was talking and texting at the same time

I have been the check in for an out of state cuddler. If anything happened to the person I had instructions on what to do, who to contact, how to manage her affairs, etc. And even though I am out of state I still would have been on a plane up there and torn a fool to pieces and still be back home by dinner time lol

  • If anyone wants or needs a check-in buddy, I don't mind at all helping out for free to give someone that sense of peace. I'm usually up in the afternoon, stay awake through majority of the night, and can text during work if needed.

  • So many nice people on here =) And everyone is so helpful in the forums! If anyone would be interested in being a mentor check-in buddy, that would be even more helpful in the beginning. I just thought of a friend who I might be able to ask (I'm not completely sure about his current reliability, so would have to ask), but I feel it would be particularly helpful to use someone on here in the beginning so I could combine the task with some direct questions and guidance as well, if anyone would be interested in helping in that way as well. If not, then just a regular check-in buddy would also be great ;-)

@pmvines - a delicious combination of loyalty, efficiency and revenge. Irresistible!! ;D

I'm tossing my name into the hat to be a check-in buddy.

    Why?

I've spoken to a few new cuddlers who are nervous and I want them to be as at ease as possible. Also I'm sick of good cuddlers leaving the site because some bozo drove them off.

    LA in da hizzies.

  • I think its a great idea and would be a willing participant. I just an hour ago received a message from a pro who was meeting with a new customer but had serious red flags. I offered to do a background check on him, but she is far away and I can't do much except be someone to contact the authorities in the event of foul play. Oh wait. I just realized something. I don't even know her real name...

  • If you are doing a check in . Give the person your real name , the clients real name , pictures , address and if in a hotel the room number . Safety check in are useless without information !!

  • Also pros you choose the hotel make sure it’s in a safe place . A place you would be comfortable ! Get a lot of info first !!! If you feel iffy go with your gut and don’t go !

  • I guess it's normal to ask for people's last name? I hadn't been that forward, but makes sense.

  • This pro contacted me because I messaged her before her session asking about her welfare. She then let me know of her situation so I offered to look him up. She finally messaged me again after meeting him that yes he was a danger so she had to bail but that she had a friend in the city that picked her up where she was so she got away safe. She did not yet give me her real name but I have her number and can look up her name. I am just awaiting her permission or for her to give it to me voluntarily herself. But she is safe now. It appears that she had an escape plan setup already but was nice enough to message me that she was ok.

A pro picking the hotel is a bit much. I think it makes sense for the client to pick a hotel and let the pro know so she can check it out and deem it safe.

I have over 10 friends on here with glowing karma who have never given their full name. Not even sure how many have given their real first name but I'm sure everyone's experience is different.

I'm all for safety but I hope integrity and safety go both ways.

Are all pros giving CC the determined percentage from sessions? Are all pros reporting taxes with session money? No to both, because some told me they hadn't.

This is when @Morpheus idea of standardizing the cuddling field is a good idea so everyone is happy and safe.

No I find a safe hotel at low price in the area they want to meet and that I I feel safe . If a client doesn’t like that they don’t need to see me .

  • Anonymity sounds great till you need someone to call the police and they don’t have enough info to give them to help you if you are in danger . I don’t play the cloak and dagger games . I’m not an escort . If I give my real name I expect Their name in return . The trust goes both ways. If you want people to treat this as a legitimate buisness you got to treat it as one too .

My preferred is in public. If it were to go to private like a hotel, I would not seem it same to go to any hotel i didnt check into myself or at least check into with another cuddler at the same time. If you let other person choose a hotel it could easily be a robbery setup.

I do remember there was a scam in LA of a girl inviting guys over and her bf clobbers the guy and robs him.

Are people talking for a while before they meet on here or just get an email, set things up and go?

  • @chococuddles, I get annoyed by people not paying the percentage or paying taxes. Taking advantage of the system is a great way to make it worse for everyone. Do you want CC to increase their charge or something? That's what will happen. I would rather have the option of a modest monthly fee instead, but 15% is really not much for them bringing us business. Seriously.

  • i Have no problem paying 15% and taxes but seriously that isn’t my problem they don’t pay they get kicked out . Don’t do taxes they can deal with IRS . Safety is my first concern for both pros and clients as well as enthusiast. When I did online dating I did the same thing . Prove identity and age it protects everyone !

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

@ubergigglefritz The percentage given to CC isn't my concern. Could be 5% could be 20%, thank goodness it's not 50% like other sites. I was only stating that not everyone gives the percentage. I do know male pros pay a monthly fee - not sure how much but I'm sure it's very small.

I think you're the first pro cuddler I've seen wanting to have the option of a monthly fee. Who knows...things could be in the works. :)

  • I agree, safety should always be the priority. I’m more than happy to give my real name and show an ID. If I were going to rent a hotel specifically for a session, I’m open to the pro choosing the location provided she is reputable.

  • I share my location with several friends who also have iPhones. I check in when I arrive, ten mins later when I’ve had a chance to get a bead on the vibes, and every hour or so. I have subtle timers that sound like text alerts to remind me. If I don’t check in, they call me, and if I don’t answer, they will call the police.

  • [Deleted User]curiousgeorge1 (deleted user)

@AglowAngel all the safety precautions people pro or non should take, is why I only would cuddle in public until I really knew the other person.

  • @curiousgeorge1 I don’t mind non-public, but I’m not really a person who likes public much at all unless it’s a music festival or concert or nature so that’s personal I’m sure.

@ubergigglefritz , I'd happily be your check in buddy. My ######. Use it! Any questions, concerns, whatever! There's not many women who stick together. I'm here for you!
