What an eloquent way of saying this! Yes. I've been advocating this concept since last year, that you learn so much more by how people treat others here on the boards than by what they write about themselves in their About Me. I just love how you phrased this! 🤩

@SunsetSnuggles I'll admit that I think of it when I post. I find the backspace key to be useful at times. Not that I'm covering up an ugly dark side, but instead, making sure that my words are an authentic representation of the kind of person I aspire to be.

I use karma to inquire about people since I think any rating system is going to be flawed if both parties can rate one another. Most people will leave 5 star karma because that’s the rating they want in return, and since you can change your karma after the fact, leaving anything less will most likely result in the same or lower rating left on your own page. If someone left 5 star karma but it was short and not much effort put in to it, there may be more to it and they may have left that karma out of fear of retaliation. Those are the ones I look for if I want to ask about that person.
I think I’d like to see the option of positive, neutral, and negative option, where neutral and negative don’t show up on their page. A negative would create a report against the person which the mods can verify to the best of their ability, and perhaps a count of the negative and neutral reviews (as well as the ability to leave anonymous neutral reviews) could be viewable if the viewer has completed an identity check or something.
This is just my personal opinion and not something I think the site would implement though. I’m probably also missing some huge flaw in my logic 😅
I have been cuddling for 7 years and have never had a bad session. I screen very well for what I think makes a good partner and it is somewhat of a self-fulfilling prophecy that I end up with a quality session.
Honestly as @tallteddy said, if they have arms I am not sure what could make for a bad session other than some untowards behavior. Maybe if they have b.o. or fart during the session? It is really not rocket science in my opinion and you would have to be stunningly bad to get less than five stars.
I once had a pro tell me that she would leave me karma if I left her some. Guess what happened when I told her the karma wouldn't be 5 stars.
@rocauser2009 There are definitely ways to make a session less than ideal without pushing boundaries/making things non-platonic.
Yes body odor could be one, or the person is in a foul mood, or they are not putting in any sort of effort on their end, or they are fixated on doing only one thing and it’s not comfortable for the other person, or they are breathing heavily right up against you, or they have bad breath, or they sleep through the whole thing, or their cuddle space is unpleasant such as being dirty/too hot/too cold/smelly, or they haven’t clipped their toe nails and their talons are ripping flesh off your legs, or they have an animal that won’t stop giving you the death stare and is constantly barking/hissing at you, or they are on their phone the entire time, or they are wearing a ton of perfume/cologne, or….
I mean the list can go on and on.

@Charlie_Bear half of your list still fell under body odor/hygiene category if counting the things you did list out. Some of the others wouldn't bother me anyway, like if they checked their phone or slept. I guess it depends how needy the person being cuddled may be.
But moreso than anything, I screen heavily for what I deem to be a worthy cuddle partner and so far I am batting 100% including this site and others with five star sessions. This can be gleaned from small things like personal appearance in photos, to how we communicate during appointment setup, flexibility on hours, not having a Ph.D. thesis written on their profile, etc. I anticipate the streak to continue.
Have some been better in sessions or clicked better personally, of course? But nothing so bad that they would have gotten a downgrade, again to me this is not that complicated.
@rocauser2009 Not having body odor is pretty important though. It’s nice that the rest wouldn’t bother you. I have had some abysmal cuddles where I questioned if I wanted to even continue, and that was with someone (fellow enthusiast) that I initially had great cuddles with - no karma exchange there. I am also guilty of some of the things I listed in my earlier days (and one much more recent - toenails…I jokingly greatly exaggerated 😅) but I was thankfully told about it before it became an issue. I think some of those things just need to be experienced first-hand before one can say they truly wouldn’t mind or not.
That is an interesting thought, as though I rated everyone at 5/5 maybe some did not think as highly of me? A few sessions were not scheduled from a "site" so I have no clue if I was a party foul or a hit record with the cuddler as there was no review from either party. Hmmm...
I admit I guess I fall mostly into the 5-star or nothing camp. If someone was completely dangerous I would probably report vs give a 1-star review. As someone else said, a 3-star review might just be someone who is a bad fit for me but someone else may find wonderful and I would feel bad for hurting their business. For example one pro I met literally did not stop talking for three consecutive hours. I’m not entirely sure there was even a pause. I was dying to end the session. Nevertheless she had a ton of positive karma so others don’t seem to mind.

I don't know if this is a reason but....
The members we see here on site are currently in good standing on CC. The "bad" characters (clients, pros, enthusiasts) that have been banned, etc. maybe that's where all the less than 5 star karmas are.
If we had a cuddle profile hall of shame , I bet it would be loaded with one star karmas etc. But since they are banned now we don't get to see those anymore. 🤔 We are just seeing the profiles of those in good standing with the CC site.
