I just watched the finale. All the feels. Bawled like a baby. If anyone wants to PM about it, I’d love to chat. DO NOT POST SPOILERS HERE. But I loved it. Every bit of it.
Every bit of it. The finale did not disappoint. While I’m sad it’s over, I’m glad I got to witness perfection unfold.
My ex got me into the show when it first came out and I loved it, but as you know, life happens and I simply forgot to keep watching. Then years later, I stumbled across full episodes being posted on TikTok in little increments and I got to watch it that way until I got fed up and decided to give it a proper watch-through from start-to-finish.
I'm glad I did. It's 1000000% my favorite show of all time now.
For anyone who's interested, if you have the time, AppleTV+ has a 7-day trial. All 3 seasons are available to watch right now. You should do it. Your soul deserves it.
I've yet to watch the most recent season. Is it the absolute final season for the whole series? I hope it doesn't become another show where it just keeps going and the quality drops horrendously. Looking at you, Walking Dead.
@w8ed_blanket It's the end-end. 3 beautifully crafted seasons filled with story and character arcs that tear you apart and mend you back together.
YES! That's great to hear, @m_r0 . We need more series like this and Breaking Bad where there's a set amount of seasons focused on good storytelling rather than just wanting more money.
Ted Lasso is hilarious, even more so since I visit England for extended periods of time regularly and see contrast in cultures in person.
Jason Sudeikis is the King Of Kansas City and I have met him in person on several occasions as he comes back home all the time and his mother is a fixture on the local morning shows. The show is fantastic and he drops Easter eggs about Kansas City on the show all the time through t-shirts, quotes, hats, etc. And he is as genuine and sweet in person as he is on the show.
He has raised millions of dollars for kids in Kansas City through the Big Slick every year which is a fundraiser put on by famous Kansas City comedians and comedic actors which include Paul Rudd, Eric Stonestreet, Rob Riggle, Heidi Gardner and others. It is their way of paying it back to Kansas City. Here is a snippet:

The success of Ted Lasso could not have happened to a nicer man.
BTW Kansas City opened their brand new airport and there is a couple of stores that sell some Ted Lasso shirts in the terminal.
I think if you sign up for a meetup. Com account, you’ll get Apple + free for 30 days. Clear your calendar. This show is perfection
