VR Games

Does anyone Play VR games? I find myself tucked away in another world. When I play VR I really like the Social game VRChat. Though some people are toxic on there. It's nice to sit down in a Beautiful world Like on a Planet straight out of a fantasy novel. What are your favorite VR games or games, in General, to get lost in?

Yes, I love VRchat, love watching movies for free on the cinema screens. Oh, and I like head pats and cuddles too. 😺
I was trying to get a cuddle puddle movie night going, but everyone was from a different time zone so had to cancel it as It was way too late for me.

  • "Does anyone Play VR games?"

    Does dealing with no-shows count?

  • I've been playing some synth riders and beat saber lately now that they are both playable on the ps5. Fun times.

  • I would like to learn to play unfortunately I don’t have any gaming devices other than a ps4. I’m not sure I could do vr on it.

  • You can play vr games on the ps4 with psvr (the first set, the second one is for ps5)

I go through phases of getting in and out of VR ever since I had the first developer kit from Oculus (nerd brag). For now I'm always returning to Synth Riders and Contractors. The latter being the closest thing to Counter Strike in VR in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to my first VR device - been fascinated with the concept since "Lawnmower Man" - I thought the tech was right around the corner. I'm most excited by high refresh rate, wide field of view, hand-eye-face tracking, light weight, allows good airflow and overall gentle on my precious eyeballs. So... the Quest 3, possibly Apples XR device out any day now. Open to learning what works best for my needs.

  • Unfortunately, the Quest 3 will not have eye tracking but the Pro does.

  • I am a big fan of VR I got the Valve index with Full Body Tracking. It is a lot of fun! I like VRChat, Phasmophobia, Beat Saber, Arizona Sunshine, Pavlov VR, SuperHot, Subnautica, and some others.

  • 100% beat saber, best thing ever

Super Hot is amazing, though I wish was longer.

Arizona Sunshine is fun, though I almost lost my TV because I let me neighbor try it out, and they freaked out, heh.
Just remember can always just close your eyes ;-)

  • @xJackx I would recommend Moss book one and two. Also , lone echo one and two if you like space vistas

Would be great if we could all meet up in VR. In VRchat we could watch a movie together.

  • VR is a bit too immersive and disorienting for me. I prefer PC gaming if I had to choose.

One thing I will never do on VR: horror games. Ironically, this is coming from a horror movie fan.

  • HAHA, I scream when playing horror games, makes everyone laugh. 😆

  • When I don't want to go to the gym, I'll play Beat Saber on my Oculus. Unfortunately, many of the other games give me motion sickness. I can do the roller coaster ones though. Until Dawn: Rush of Blood on the Playstation VR is awesome! As long as my inner ear is convinced that I'm stationary and everything else around me is moving and not vice versa, I'm fine.

  • I sometimes stand and walk on the spot to avoid motion sickness. I hear that Ginger's good for motion sickness too.
