@Matt462 thank you.
@palmbch02 I'm really sorry this happened to you and I'm glad you found out. I would feel the same way. I hope you wind up with some resolution that goes all your way. Best wishes.
Sincere question - does forum etiquette dictate that the reader not call BS on implausibly laughable stories?
I don't want to sound negative but maybe you need a new wife. Not being able to do the things that make you physically happy is a major issue in any relationship. Me and my gf are cuddle addicts. Sometimes it leads to sex and sometimes it's just cuddling. But I believe physical intimacy is important for mutual happiness and also for your mental well being.
I'd also like to add that doing those things secretly would definitely be cheating in my eyes. This is something you need to talk with your significant other about
@palmbch02 I'm hoping you'll read this with the tone it is intended, as I've been cheated on as well and know the anger and hurt and frustration you are feeling....
But I don't believe that creating a fake account to spy on him or going to other extreme measures is going to make you feel any better. You already knew the truth and now all you are doing is breaking site TOS and creating more lies and distrust. What good will it do, pretending to be a man so you can hunt down other women when your anger should be directed at the person who actually betrayed you? Why stoop to his level?
Often when we are hurting we lash out, but we may target the wrong people. Your husband hurt you, not the women of this site. He chose to join here and not tell you. He is the one you need to be having the tough discussions with, perhaps seek counseling to mediate those discussions. The women of this site he cuddled with did not force him to cuddle them and then lie to you - there's a good chance he lied to them just as he did to you. Targeting them with your anger and creating a catfish account, even if just to "gather evidence", is only going to make the situation worse.
I truly hope you find support from your friends and loved ones, and that you get peace from whatever resolution you come to with your husband.
@cuddlefaery you are very right. I am canceling my acct now. We start counseling next Wed. 💕
Perfectly said @cuddlefaery
Dang ~ What a bummer to not be able to tell your SO that you respect their boundaries of not wanting to cuddle, and in turn would like them to respect that you need more non-sexual touch in your life.
Wouldn't it be great if in this topic of conversation you could invite them to help you problem solve getting those needs met? Perhaps even, at some point, letting them know you've been on CC? Personally, I think that'd be lovely.
I get that's not the reality for some, but it can be if you want it to be. True it may disrupt your current goings on, but it's likely better for everyone if you're not harboring resentments, breeding dishonest leanings and avoiding a topic out of fear of an unknown reaction/outcome.
