    My dad once taught me this and I’ve used it for years. Always works for me.
    Think of a step by step process you enjoy doing. Building or fixing something, cooking, mechanical work. For me it was making clothing patterns that, pinning to fabric, cutting, sewing etc. You go through each step of the process in your mind, eventually you will fall asleep! Hope it works for you!
    Also check out night time diet that promotes sleep.

    Thank you @carrieanne
    I think sometimes part of my problem is that my mind just overthinks things but maybe if I focus on something more enjoyable, that might help me!

    @lonelytauros
    I really hope it does for you. I’m a horrible overthinker/worrier and if problems are on my mind i will be awake or having stress dreams that play over and over.
    But focusing on one thing, sometimes I even imagine myself swimming laps back-and-forth back-and-forth and that will put me to sleep. It’s hypnotic.
    Best of luck and lmk if it helps! 🤗

  • @Unscented_Lemon Sleep better when it's light out...have you tried going to sleep with the room lights on? I have trouble sleeping in the dark and having a light on helps.

  • I’ve never heard the end of this video because I’m sleeping.

  • @LadyVel Room lights are usually too bright for me. But I do have a fancy bed frame with a night light, and that often helps. My room has blackout curtains, and enough light gets past that to be soothing without giving me a migraine.

    The air also just sounds different to me when the sun is out.

  • I seem to go through phases. Most times it's because my mind is still going when my body needs the sleep. Sometimes thunderstorms played on YouTube help.
