Yeah, I feel like I should put that caveat out there.
I had a buddy, much better looking than I but also much smaller (like a Brad Pitt type) who decided one semi-drunken evening to try my line out.

Actually, to take a step back, I'm curious whether people think this type of "witty banter" or one-liners or flirting (although problematic in a platonic context) is actually a significant or effective way of connecting with someone.
I think I'm pretty terrible at these forms of conversation, but that doesn't seem to inhibit my appeal to women, in either a dating or cuddle context. So my instinct is to say these forms of conversation are unimportant. But what does everyone else think?
