Are Scammers on the Rise?

I haven't been active on this site in 3 years. This month, I have gotten 3 messages asking if I want to book a session. I'm clear on some scams. But are there any tips or tricks to detect scams? What is the scam? Do I book a session, pay money, and the pro/cuddler bails on the session?

  • Have you visited their profiles or are these "cold calls" by Pro's? The latter isn't allowed and should be reported.

As for if it's a scam, it's possible, or it could just be an inexperienced Pro who doesn't realize that isn't allowed, or one who doesn't care and is trying to drum up business, anyway.

Not so much a scam as we’ve had a recent uptick in new accounts thanks to a Tik Tok video that mentioned the site. A lot of them are not reading the FAQ and rules and reaching out, even before they sign up for pro status . My area has been flooded lately…I’ve sent the link on how to be pro to several new profiles.

Are they asking you for a deposit?

I’ve seen new pros and checked out their bio and then all of a sudden I get a message from them. Is that allowed?

I actually like when pros message me after I check out their profile. Gets the ball rolling. But yeah to stay on topic, look for reviews.

  • Also, don’t send money ever lol. Exchange occurs in person.

@hitman_12596 Yes it is after you visit their profile. If you haven’t visited their profile then it is a no-no and they get a rap on the knuckles from a mod.

    Thanks everyone.

  • One more tip here are my red flags. TGTBT photos, a deposit and 27 forms of I.D. with no reviews. Like come on who do you think you are. If you’re established I’ll consider a partial deposit. Maybe. Lol. Sorry just ranting. Been holding it in. 😮‍💨

  • Yes. They have all been cold calls. No visits, but direct messages asking me for a session.

  • Your join date is July 2022, so actually, that’s not even a year ago. You were active within the past year and will show up in search results. FYI, that’s how you were found.
Scams? Be very careful about sending ANY deposits, and always read all profiles very carefully. Some pros refuse to refund a deposit, even if they cancel, and not you. They may say it’s a credit toward a future appt. Might be legit, might be a scam. You will need to vet your pro just as diligently.
If you’re not comfortable with a pro’s requirements, don’t argue or try to negotiate, just move on. Boundaries aren’t up for debate. Risks are real for both people.
    Good luck!

  • @Timmie Yep, you can go ahead and report them. The moderators will look into it/deal with it appropriately.

  • Maybe another round of govt stimulus checks will slow the scammers down.

  • @Sooson Now that is funny!

  • @Sooson - It'll speed them up. They want your stimulus money.

  • @AllAboutSoul My bad. You are right. I had my cuddle journey mixed with COVID dates lol.
