@Charlie_Bear water and board games are great! I don't think we'll have hose access to fill water balloons or super soakers, unfortunately.
For the T-shirts I was going to make myself a sky blue shirt with "Free Hugs! (just ask)" or similar on the front with CuddleComfort on it somewhere and then just go crazy with color. Probably paint and stencils as it's fairly low mess and should dry quickly in the heat.

Road closure alert for those coming from the sf bay area - caltrans is closing eastbound 80 at highway 4 in Pinole July 21-24. I've been unable to find much information on this closure other than freeway signs mentioning it, but it's likely related to an overpass replacement on the Vallejo side of the carquinez bridge.
If it's feasible for where you're coming from (sf, Oakland/Berkeley) take highway 24 east to 680 north. Stay to the right after the benicia bridge and continue 15 miles to eastbound 80, and plan for heavier than usual traffic after the benicia bridge.
If you're coming from the south bay, I recommend just taking 680 the whole way until it meets 80.

This is the current forecast for Saturday - they've upped the expected high from the low 90s to 106 🥵 after a mild June, July has decided to be "eff around and find out" every weekend 🤦🏻♀️
Since we're planning to be done by early afternoon, we should miss the worst of it. If anyone wants to get there early to leave early, let me know - I'm happy to hang out! I'm going to fill some spray bottles to keep chilled and we'll hopefully have plenty of drinking water, but please plan accordingly if you aren't used to the heat folks!

@Charlie_Bear there's a public pool right there at the park 😂 it's bound to be quite crowded though so if you're staying at a hotel their pool would probably be a better bet
@cuddlefaery - I can bring several bags of ice. Maybe even a cooler.
I too will bring a cooler and can grab some ice along with water.
@Sideon I'm going to have to say from my experience growing up there...skip Vacaville. Then again I was 17 angsty and hated life so... The hills are just super brown this time of year and the prison with Manson makes it a little depressing.
I'll be trying to check the forum and my mailbox regularly between now and throughout the day of the party.
