I have purchased four Barbie dolls in my life.
All four purchased in recent years for my daughter. Anyone who knows me knows I'm very interested in astronomy, space exploration, and various other sciences. I share my interest with my daughter, who's also developed an interest in the subject.
One of her favorite birthday party themes was the space theme (for her 7th birthday), where I built a mock-up of the Mercury-Atlas 7 vehicle and a Sputnik satellite that I hung from the ceiling.
