Is this normal?

I contacted a woman listed as a professional cuddler. She sent a response, and sent her phone number to text her. I texted her. She responded stating it is easier to talk.

I called her the next day, and she asked if I would drive to her or she would drive to me. She was listed as being able to host, so I said I will drive to her.

She said she was not sure if she would work at home that day or get a hotel room in the area. I figured she would maybe get a hotel room if she made several appointments in one day, and didn't want clients at her home.

Today she sent a text stating she would get a hotel and let me know the price of the hotel, so I know the price.

I forgot to mention. Every text except her first text arrived to me twice from two different phone numbers.

I already cancelled and blocked her. It just did not feel right.

  • She may have tried to scam you, next thing she would be asking you for your credit card info so she can reserve the room. Also I would report to @Mark , as she likely asked you to call her instead if she is indeed legitimately a pro on here to avoid reporting it so the site doesn't get its share.

That seems like a good answer.

Just to throw this out there, if she gave you a Google Voice number where the text are also forwarded to her phone and not solely done through the Google Voice app, if she responds to your texts using her normal text messaging app instead of the Google Voice one it will message you from both numbers.. her personal one and her Google Voice number.
I have a Google Voice number I use for business and found this out. If you're going to use a Google Voice number you have to know to use the Google Voice app to text and call through or it won't do it's intended job of not giving out your personal number.
So it could be legitimate, but she may not have known this or that it was happening.. simply trying to keep the 2 numbers separate yet not knowing how to use the system.

  • One thing I do when selecting a pro that I’ve never seen before is to look at her karma and then I look at the profiles and karma of the members who have left her karma. I can keep going if I want, it’s almost like a cuddle karma tree. I’ve even reached out to members that have seen the pro that I’m interested in and have asked them what their experience with her was like. Most people are generally happy to share. If you’re unsure about this particular pro, do what I suggested and it’ll all probably become clear pretty quickly whether she’s real or not.

  • I agree with @Morpheus and even do the same thing... and I've had several people reach out to me asking about my experience with Pros or recommendations in my area, both that live in my area and that will be traveling to or through here.

  • I always follow the Karma tree

  • @reurbo I'm so glad you shared that about the Google voice app so I don't look shady! Thank you
