  • Sadly people just want to tear others down no mater what

  • @CuddleDuncan Then gatekeep a thread that you're not in total ignorance about. Otherwise, it just comes off as annoying.

  • Interesting that a third of the posts are telling others how to post with the tenacity of a Wal Mart door greeter demanding to see your receipt lol

Pee Wees Big Adventure goes down in history as an all time favorite.

  • Loved his work with Cheech and Chong

  • Not to mention a cameo in the Blues Beothers

  • Anyone have a favorite Paul Reubnes performance other than Pee Wee

  • I had the PeeWee’s playhouse Christmas special on vhs as a kid, one of many Christmas specials that I’d watch daily during the holidays

If you have never done the dance then you did not appreciate pee wee

It’s never nice to disrespect those who are alive or those who have passed away. I love all of the posts here about the happy memories of him. I don’t think he was a married man who cuddled with other women.. ?? People who sin themselves have no right judging others. I will remember him as a funny and kind hearted human being . May he rest in peace .,

  • Yeah, I found that out today. I adore Pee Wee Herman and from my understanding he was found innocent of those 2002 charges. And as for 1991, he was in an adult porn theater where a lot of masturbating goes on. So, whatever...RIP Pee Wee Herman😇 and while you up there DON'T tell'em Large Marge
    Sent Ya!😜🤪

What’s amazing is if there was a thread and the thread was about a person from a marginalized community. The accusations of ISM would be rife. Oh but wait, Paul Reuben’s was a member of two minority groups. And attacking a Gay Jewish man could be seen as anti-Semitic and homophobic. How do we know that these attacks aren’t because of his ethnic background and his sexual orientation?
Okay okay I’m being hyperbolic, but what if it was a brown trans celebrity and they passed away and people came in here bringing up negative aspects. I’m sure there would be flagging a and howls of racism. Or am I gaslighting myself and this never happens in the forums when there are threads about people with immutable characteristics?
Anyway Pee Wee’s Big Adventure was genius and was his playhouse show and his turn in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

  • @supadupa I almost started a thread about what celebrity died that you missed and why. Only because it would turn into a shit show I didnt.
Im really trying to keep things unopinionated, factual and on topic on these forums simply because it is a free country and I can type if I want to.
But I am well aware of the boundries some set that is very unempathetic, short sighted and at times downright rude. But hey im not pee wee. So....

  • The hot dog tree:

  • @BoomerSpooner
Loved him in Blow. Aside from this role Pee Wee will always have a special place in my heart. His playhouse decor has influenced my decor style.

  • Apparently, from what I've only heard, one of the most common requests at the Alamo in San Antonio is to be taken down to see the basement.

  • Paul Reubens wasn’t my type of comedy but that is fine, we all have our personal preferences. I respected him as an actor who was very good at what he did, was loved by millions, made people laugh and didn’t hurt anyone.
