@mayjunejuly I have been there. If you see a stone he’s not concerned with he’ll give it to you and I still walk out of there with 3-4 hundred less than I did before.
NOTICE: not sure if everyone knows this but turquoise, citrine and peridot are super over-mined and rare. So people will take howlite and dye it to look like turquoise, take amethyst and heat treat it to look like citrine and break down translucent green stones to look like peridot. Be careful. Especially if a place seems to have a ton of it. If they have piles or if the peridot looks big it’s probably fake.

Venus retrograde has kicked me from here to kingdom come. Mercury's shadow period hasn't been too bad but we go full retrograde on my birthday... sooooo.... Yay 😑...
