  • @Deltron2000 lol looks like you were right about flak.

  • @Deltron2000 putting the responsibility for how men behave on the women completely misses the point. The whole but she was.wearing this and talked like that and was in this place so she obviously knew she had it coming viewpoint is pretty antiquated. If a man gets creepy and inappropriate, regardless of any assumed circumstances, it's on him. Nobody is responsible for your behavior but you.

I agree, but I'm just trying to be real in case it helps some of the females on the site. There's the way you want things to be and the way things really are. I've heard every girl I've ever cuddled with tell me about guys testing their boundaries, so ya, guys are creeps, that's how it is so you have to be ready for it. It's unfortunate, but things can get out of hand if you don't lay down the ground rules first. I knew a girl that had a rehearsed speech she gave before every session and thought that was pretty awesome. Sounded clinical and probably awkward for her to give and sad that she had to, but necessary and respected the hell out of her for it.

@Deltron2000 men are not innately just creeps. It doesn't have to be that way. We should be focusing on changing that by talking to the men in our lives, educating them and keeping them in check, rather than accepting it and putting the responsibility on women to protect themselves from men. They shouldn't have to.

  • I believe I understand what you are saying @Deltron2000 and you seem sincere about trying to help women. Regardless of how I or anyone else feels about your posts, your sincere desire to help is obvious to me. Not that this matters. Take my opinion with $5 and it will get you a coffee. I just like to support sincerity when I see it. In general I think the employer/business owner needs to set the tone. Doesn't mean the employee/customer won't try to get away with everything they can. But the tone already needs to be set. This would apply to employer/pro/business owner of any gender. Actually applies to clients, etc. also. If you are a client that wants to be treated right, set the tone from the beginning.

    @Sooson I'm a glutton for punishment I guess.

  • Nate is right, but I prefer to operate a motor vehicle and live all of my life as if all the onus/responsibility is on me. This works much better than saying people should abide by the rules and acting as if they will.

  • @Sooson @Deltron2000 how about y'all stop walking in a room and patting us on the head saying how we're doing it wrong and you're here to teach us a thing or two because you're a dude and know more than a woman.
Teach men to not be creeps, call out other guys and give them the tools to not be the ones we need to worry about.
Trust me, we've been hearing about it all our lives.
    Be better. Do better.

  • There is no excuse for creepy behavior... none... "but she was wearing this". Try using that excuse in court when you get charged with sexual assault. As for photos on here, as long as they are within the rules of the site. Are they supposed to only post ugly photos to keep the creeps away? smh

As a man, I'd like to challenge other men to respond with compassion and empathy when we hear about the painful experiences of other people.

Men who feel defensive in these circumstances have an opportunity for self-examination. There is no shame in this if we are willing to do so honestly and with a desire to grow.

The best experiences of my life have been associated with the times when I have learned new things. I kindly encourage other men to seek this kind of joy.

    Edited for typos

I understand your point but you would go to McDonalds and order a pizza, even though they have tomatoes, cheese and meat.
Don't think that you can come to a platonic cuddle website and expect more.

  • @Jova114 - I've been to a McDonald's that actually did sell pizza.

  • @Mike403
    Dammit lol
Ummm you wouldn't go to Taco Bell and ask for spaghetti?

@Deltron2000 That is essentially blaming the victim. It won't win you any friends here.

  • @JoyfulHeart I agree.
I am not perfect nor do I pretend to me.
    I haven't always been a gentleman.
And though I can't take my inappropriate comments back, I can learn from them and better myself moving forward.

  • Anyone looking for something non-platonic does not even belong on this website. The mods are quick at banning people who makes that intention known. It makes no sense to me why they would come here when there are way more non-platonic websites than platonic ones.

@Mike403 It's the lure of the forbidden. Part of the appeal for them is breaking the rules. Plus, let's face it, a site full of often lonely and/or touch-starved people is a magnet for predators of all kinds.

  • @WriterGF
This is why we can't have nice things

Not trying to delete what I said from the record. I just know that what I said was harsh.

  • ^^^^^^^^

  • I like the acronym from planned parenthood describing the things needed to make consent valid:

    Freely given
    Reversible
    Informed
    Enthusiastic
    Specific

Not trying to delete what I said from the record. I just know that what I said was harsh. Same

  • @stormydaycuddle - You tell 'em. It's just men giving excuses for their behavior. If they actually believe that nonsense, then we failed as a species.

  • Honestly @Mike403 I feel we did fail because these type of conversations happen to often.

We aren't cavemen with primitive brains that need to act on every single feeling. We have the ability to keep our sexual urges to ourselves. We are the result of billions of years of evolution. Act like it.

  • I 100% agree with you @Mike403
It just feels like the cavemen breed faster then the evolved

    …….

  • In no way am I giving them excuses!!!
I just feel like these conversations are too often.
We shouldn't have to explain why their thinking is wrong.

  • It reminds be of the movie Idiocracy where in the future, the average IQ dropped substantially because the stupid people would breed like rabbits and the intelligent people would wait until the right time to have kids.

  • Lol the crazy thing with Idiocracy is the Crocs prophecy lol
