Every now and then I think up an idea for a movie I’d love to see. Something that just pops up in my head and I’m like, why hasn’t a movie like that been made before?
What’s some movie ideas you’ve never seen that you’d love watching if it were made? Feel free to comment on any one’s post if such a movie exists.
One of the ideas I’ve had for a while is an Armageddon or world exploration experiment/undertaking type idea where some research organization decides they need to explore the depths of the sea and the only way to do it is to suck up all the water in the ocean down to the floor bed and then deep explore the floor below. They’d build these out of this world looking dam-like structure to hold all the oceans water temporarily while they explore. One leak and it could spell catastrophe for the study happening below. Also, the ocean floor is extremely mysterious so there’s no telling what they might find. Lost boats, the ark, Atlantis, new life forms…who knows. It would be like space on earth exploration. They might even need to fly a rocket down to the parts as deep as the skies above.
So that’s one idea I’d love to see.
Another one is where people are forced to cycle through one race a month for a year. They retain their livelihoods and their family dynamic and everything pretty much remains the same except that their race suddenly gets switched. What would their experiences be for that year? How would they view different cultures after? How would it impact their friends, their relationships, their jobs? How would the group dynamics change?
It could also be where they enter experiment to cycle through the race and body of another person entirely. Like a virtual reality type situation. But one where they’re forced to take on the life of another.
