@Debster - I am very sorry to hear about your horrible experiences. I have gotten to know 2 women who are licensed massage therapists at the spa where I do my floats.
They have both told me that they have been harassed by men before (very similar to what you described) but both of them said it was a rare occurrence at that spa. Management immediately bans any offenders for the safety of the massage therapist and for protecting the reputation of the spa.

@Mike403 There are plenty who come here with the sole intention of coercing, grooming, and trying to see how far they can push other people's boundaries. It's literally a game to them. They LOVE to brag about it. Your friend who left the site was wise.
@Debster I had two female LMTs recite the same review and why they had to stop taking male clients altogether. They both worked in upscale spas. Any pro here who offers massage even if it's well intentioned is putting themselves at risk of being harassed just for mentioning it.

I had no idea so many men were running around with sore groin every single day. It's an epidemic really. But you'd never know as they don't mention this phantom pain outside of the possibility of receiving a massage from a stranger. 🤷♀️
@Debster was it really necessary to mention that massage parlors are run by Asians? You could have left that out. I feel that was unnecessary and racially insensitive. I mean really, reinforcing stereotypes?

@supadupa she said "usually" and by that she probably meant 99% of them. It's just facts. there are probably about 200 of them in the Chicago area. And Low Enforcement conveniently ignores. And when they get busted they get fined, not jailed. So they can open another spa and then get fined again. The state loves repeat offenders as they are source of revenue.

But they mostly are. Here in Austin there are a hundred of these parlors around town.
No-one is denigrating Asians as a whole by mentioning Asian massage parlors, just as no-one is denigrating Italians as a whole by mentioning the Italian mafia.

I can see the logic behind this; however, cuddling typically takes two, which allows both parties to share control. Laying down and letting someone massage me would make me feel very much out of control, and vulnerable.
"is this good marketing" This is highly subjective, but for me, no. I steer clear of men who bring up massage in messages, and putting it in their profile is even more of a questionable sign, to me. I've had several guys offer massages and foot rubs during cuddles and have declined all but one, who had training.

Agreed. There are certainly more tactful ways to put this. I do like what you're trying to convey, though, as I often click away from people who look "too athletic" to likely be interested in cuddling with me. ☺️
