Cuddle Karma

[Deleted User]Hugginsworth (deleted user)

Would it seem strange to anyone else that nobody in the entire area has anything on their Cuddle Karma tab? What's that about, do you think? I would have expected at least someone to have a review. Is Karma supposed to be only for the pros? I'm looking at non-pro women only.

Strange? No, Not entirely and karma is for both enthusiasts and pros alike.

    People either:
    1. haven't cuddled,
    2. have cuddled and no one left karma (forgot, didn't feel comfortable to, or etc. I have had someone not leave me karma before)
    3. have cuddled but they asked them not to leave karma

By strange, l just mean is that typical for a large metro area with lots of members to choose from? Basically, has anyone else noticed this?

  • No, it's not strange. Roughly only a third of my cuddlers have left karma. It is never expected, but always appreciated.

  • It's elective so its not strange. It can also be removed after it's been given

  • Fortunately I am a shape shifter which affords me the opportunity to write my own karma. But I maintain a level of objectivity.

If it was a lot of women pros that had no karma that would be odd. Enthusiasts not so much. If they have a full profile filled out with photos and all that, then it might be more likely for them to have some karma.

No one in the entire area? That does seem odd.

But to address no karma in the bigger picture, I’d add that it depends on how long they’ve been on the site too; they may not have any cuddles yet, but IMO a lack karma shouldn’t be a deal killer or a/the determining factor.

For me - profiles are important, but the bottom line is a nothing beats an actual real human conversation! I know, I know, no one wants to actually talk on the phone anymore, but after 10 or 15 messages back-and-forth my next step is to try and move towards a conversation.

To make her feel most comfortable I always offer the option for her to *67caller ID block, but after a certain point if she won’t even do that, and just wants to message incessantly I lose interest quickly.

To punctuate that, if a detailed profile, 1/2 a dozen karma reviews and a dozen or so nice messages back and forth isn’t enough to earn a conversation, I can do no more…

  • Just assume it’s 5 ⭐️ because it is always 5 ⭐️. The only time i question it is when it’s not 5 ⭐️. The words are very similar as well, so you’ll have to read carefully to find something appealing, some hint that this one is different.

  • I have received karma from about 90% of my cuddle partners (20 karma out of 22 cuddlers). Of the 2 who didn’t leave karma, one was a pro who told me during our cuddle that she never left karma for anyone and she asked me to NOT leave karma for her. I think she was simply very cautious about her privacy and didn’t want to create an online list of everyone she had cuddled with.

The other was an enthusiast who I think just forgot. She isn’t very active on CC and frequently goes weeks at a time without being on CC.

  • I live in the same area as the OP (Tampa). There are lots of active cuddlers here of both genders with karma. There must be some other filter setting that’s causing you to not see people with karma.

  • I'm not really into giving or receiving karma.

    Ice cream cones...that's different.

Just to update, I have found a couple profiles with a single karma item, but it seems to be exceedingly rare for active, non-professional women in Florida, for some reason. The pros (who predominate at about 4:1) do have tons of reviews, as I would expect. One thing I didn't expect was that the karma only shows up in search results on professional profile pic cards. I would have expected that to be true for everyone. Oh well! I appreciate the responses.

  • @Hugginsworth In your last comment, I believe what you're referring to is the badge that shows the number of Karma, or their star rating? That will show on search results for anyone, once they reach five Karmas. 🙂

@SunsetSnuggles Ah okay, cool. Thanks for the correction. That seems reasonable.

  • @Hugginsworth No worries! It's most frequently seen with Pro's because they tend to see a higher amount of cuddlers, per individual.

Welcome to the site, by the way; you have a wonderfully-written profile! Feel free to PM, anytime. 😊

There could be multiple reasons for that from forgetting or a person is just not comfy leaving good or bad karma. Me personally I try to leave karma with everyone I have seen. Most have been good with only one really bad experience. I don't know if we are allowed to write like a follow up or 2nd karma or not. I have seen a person multiple times. The first visit was great with only one problem. She did fix it though. So I left good karma and 5 stars. I've seen this person multiple times over past 5 or 6 months and she's become very disrespectful and rude toward me. So I'm in a spot where I'm not sure on this larva thing. That's just my personal experience though. Hope everyone is getting some amazing snuggles.

  • @goodguy197636 For a short time, you can edit Karma you have left. After that, the Edit option goes away, but you can always delete it.

In the case that you mentioned, I would highly suggest that you delete your initial Karma, and rewrite a new one that reflects the progression you have experienced. Also, if it is severe enough, feel free to report that person. I'm sorry you had that experience.

  • I've had several clients and even a few repeats without getting any karma. It's optional and, from my experience, not entirely reliable. I've seen people with excellent karma that gave me the absolute creeps and got blocked for being inappropriate just through messaging.

  • @BonnieT I'm sorry you've had those experiences. Some of us were saying recently how Karma should only be used as a small portion of vetting potential cuddlers, for that very reason. Also, if people are being inappropriate, feel free to report, not just block them.

As for those who don't leave Karma (for ourselves, or others) there can be many reasons. Sometimes they were not impressed with the cuddle (or were uncomfortable, or flat-out assaulted). Sometimes they simply forget. Some are private and don't want to talk about their experience. Some find it too weird to review a human being. Some struggle with OCD or other issues that make it very difficult for them to write something, even if they were thrilled with the experience. It's not necessarily a negative sign. 😊

  • I’ve been doing this for a year and only have received two karma

  • @KatCuddles77 travel down to Ft. Lauderdale/Miami on occasion. There are a lot of cuddlers there.
