@Pandapixie I recently watched the old BBC TV show, which I think was very similar to listening to the radio broadcast...it reminded me of a play, and they were just acting out the book. I haven't seen the movie in a few years, but I noticed it's on Hulu, so I may re-watch one of these nights.
@Concordiaesque I haven't seen that in forever. I remember it being really low budget.
Ooo, yes, rewatch I wish they'd do another one.
I’m just reading Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy for the first time. I want to finish the series while I’m 42, so have about 6 weeks left.
@INurturePeace Best of luck! Do you intend to read all five books in the trilogy?
@Concordiaesque @Pandapixie Okay, but which movie?
I've always wanted to take a course in Bistromathematics.
@stormydaycuddle the one on Hulu is the 2005 version, is there another?
@Concordiaesque , I’m hoping to read all 5. #goals I’m about 60 pages into the first book but then stopped for a couple weeks. I need to get back to it!!
@INurturePeace, cool...I wasn't sure if you were also intending to read the 6th book...not sure if people count that as part of the trilogy. I think Fall is a great time for making goals Good luck!
Anyone know where I can get an infinite improbability drive?
@Concordiaesque yep. Really old one. Way better.
@stormydaycuddle Ooo, I didn't know there was another movie?! I know about the bbc tv series in 1981. I'm having trouble finding another movie. Do you know where I can?
I saw the 2005 version and was disappointed. My favorite part of the books was the part that would end up being narration in a film. The approach taken to this movie version left much of that out.
For someone who hadn't read the books, it might have been more enjoyable.
@Pandapixie probably was the BBC one.
@stormydaycuddle oh ok. I want to watch that again one day.
