Ive been on a few international flights and meals weren't bad. The attendants were very kind and hospitable. 14 hrs, or was it 16, is a long time though.
@SunsetSnuggles I want to turn it into a cuddle joke without sounding too human trafficky, but alas, I can't. lol
@CelestialTouch I agree completely about international flights. A lot more work and effort by the employees and staff goes into making those extremely long flights tolerable, if not enjoyable.
Granted, my last 12-hr international flight was ten years ago.
This forum has really ...taken off
@Jova114 bahahaha I'm sorry, good sir, please spare me the lash!

What's an airplane spotter's favorite food?
A Courgette. . . . . . . . (Cor, Jet!)
I'm so sorry.
@SunsetSnuggles Lol no lashings Not the out come I was expecting but still a positive conversation lol
@DaveTheBrit That's the Spirit lol
@Jova114 To be fair, I, for one, totally failed to see a correlation between the thread title, and the body of the original post. π€π«£ So I'm not really surprised there's been one joke to a whole page of airplane silliness. giggles and hides under a blankie
@SunsetSnuggles The stereotypical joke of comedians back in the 80s and 90s were model after Jerry Seinfeld. He once said 'what's the deal with airline food..' and had a joke about it. Since then that has been kind of a satire when meaning stand up comedy. I guess I'm dating myself lol
Also fun fact, my cousin is a comedian and is very close friend with Jerry Seinfeld
@Jova114 Son, you're younger than I am! (...Now...that I had my birthday a couple days ago. Pwahaha) I just lived a very sheltered childhood and definitely wasn't familiar with the comedians from back then.
Makes total sense, now!! If I was good at remembering jokes, I'd totally share some, but I've always been terrible at that.
@SunsetSnuggles Lmaooooo @ "son" You trying to step to me? Lol
@Jova114 Why, you wanna take this outside?!
...Can we please take this outside? It's a beautiful day for a walk by the river! π« ππ
I refuse to eat domestic airline food. I also refuse to fly US airlines if I am traveling internationally. Asian and Middle Eastern airlines are superior in all aspects compared to US airlines. Same can be said for their airports. I actually make sure to book super long layovers if I'm transiting through Singapore just so I can spend extra time exploring the airport.
@Mr_Cuddle_Bear The Singapore airport is awesome. Especially the gardens.
@SunsetSnuggles Ooo a walk by the river sounds lovely
Not my joke but it's a good one:
A couple sits down to prepare for guest speeches at their wedding. A man leans in to the DJ's mic and asks the couple:
'Do you mind if I say a word?'
The couple respond, 'Not at all, go for it!'
The man stands and clears his throat, holding the mic now. He pauses, then says:
'Plethora'.
He sits back down.
The couple says, 'That means a lot.'
@OhioMike Here's the fall view from the kitchen...
@Jova114 The river is nestled right in the trees. Walk with me? π
@CaringPaws
The next person stood up and said, "bargain."
"Thanks. That means a great deal."
@Txtom I used Singapore airlines to fly to Thailand last year and it was really interesting. I feel like they give you alot and very interesting cultural food. They give you ice cream with everything tooπ
@CaringPaws Lmao I love it! And great addition @JoyfulHeart lol
@SunsetSnuggles It'd be my honor puts arm out
"Earth."
"Thanks. That means the world."
