Also, an oblivious woman might think a guy whose profile says "Netflix and chill" litterally means watching Netflix and just hanging out. Therefore agreeing to go spend time with him, only to find out he's trying to push for more and maybe even throws a tantrum, because he thinks she should've understood what it meant.
Though many of us have come to learn that like 90% of them mean it in a sexual manner and those of us not okay with it steer clear off of it. Also you do know that having the say "birds and the bees" talk can "literally" mean... talking about birds and the bees. Though it isn't how that phrase is widely used, is it?

This site is under constant attack - I mean dozens of times a day - in numerous ways from people who are trying to subvert its nature. The ethos is very simple: if it's not blatantly platonic, we don't want it here.
If you want to have discussion on the nuances of what 'fetish' means, do it somewhere else. By joining this forum you have already agreed not to do it here.
Curiously, I have observed that the word 'clique' does seem to have a nuanced meaning on this forum. It usually turns out to mean, "I'm trying to undermine the terms of service without being too obvious about it".

I get quite a few messages/cuddle requests, interestingly most from men, some of them seem to have sexual undertones in the wording but nothing explicit. I just laugh them off but can only imagine what it is like for women on here

I think the earlier argument @teddybear888 may have been attempting to make was that not all kinks are sexual. However, all fetishes are by definition. A lot of people tend to use the words interchangeably when they actually have very different meanings and applications. Unfortunately the vast majority of people have not had sex-postitive educations and since this site is generally sex adverse, trying to discuss it in an educational manner as adults is frowned upon. Since I don't want to get myself another timeout, if anyone would like educational information, I'm happy to provide resources or have private discussions.
Either way, providing either kink or fetish services are expressly prohibited in the Professional contract even if they are non-sexual acts. I hope OP recognizes this now and will use the site as it is intended.
Edit for clarification: I am not defending any of teddy's statements or arguments with the mods. I was simply commenting on his misuse of a term which likely added fuel to the fire.
