Moderator group chat?

I have a couple questions about the best way to communicate with the moderator team.

  1. Suppose I want to post a question for all the moderators to see and potentially respond to, but I don't want it to be a public forum post? I could send a private message to every moderator, but i'd rather have something like a private group chat.

  2. Unlike a private message or forum post, if I submit a report, there is not a way for me to view what I've submitted. Of course, I can save a copy separately before I submit it, but there does not seem to be a facility within the website to see reports that I've made.

    1. There isn't a way to do this and that is likely to remain the case. Moderator time is a scarce resource and therefore communication ideally is channelled in an efficient and clean way. The best way to have something viewed by all moderators is an actual report (assuming its legitimate). That gets converted into a ticket which all moderators can view and privately communicate through. For a question that you feel is sensitive but not suitable in the form of a report, you can message a moderator but please do not message all of them.

    Hi @Mark, thanks for your helpful answers. It's good you said not to message all the moderators, because I was thinking of doing that (depending on the reply posted in this topic).

    I wonder if it would be helpful to show for each moderator a list of topics that they specialize in handling (such as fake accounts, canceled appointments, discrimination by a pro, etc)? In the absence of such guidance, I read all the moderator profiles and picked one to send my inquiry to. Depending on the response I receive from that moderator, I may submit a report regarding an interaction with a pro cuddler, but first I wanted to see if it could be resolved a different way.

    If there is anything that can't be resolved directly with a cuddler and you feel it is a legitimate concern, I recommend filing a report. All mods can see the reports and, if necessary, collaborate on them.

    The report does a couple things that a message won't: it establishes a record of the concern, which is available to all mods, and it allows us to choose which reports to address in which order.

    Moderator action on reports is carefully thought out, and different methods of resolution are considered as part of that process. Because of this, reports tend to be the most efficient and the most effective way to communicate concerns.

    @Mark Is there a way I can write to someone to "speak up" for a cuddler who was banned? I had two amazing, and platonic experiences with this person but I think they were set up by someone. I'd like to throw in my thoughts and defend her if possible. Thank you!
