If you're wondering why it's a cloudless sunny day outside, yet it's seems to be getting darker...
You might be in the path for the solar eclipse. San Antonio, TX will see it in about 10 mins. Oregon, in a couple of hours.
The eclipse is making some amazing crescent shadows in our yard (from the trees). Had to work very hard to convice my daughter NOT to look directly at the eclipse, but rather at it's effects. Got some really cool photos.
I'm in Oregon, definitely getting a little more cloudy over here, saw some of the ring though.
Oops. Oregon might have already had theirs a couple of hours ago. Not sure. Time zones always throw me off.
Pretty amazing! Watched it on a helipad. I secretly wished I was in the movie the Little Vampire watching it happen at night on a cliff 🧛♀️

Seen it here slc utah about 1030 hrs peaking through the clouds rarely for like 2 maybe 3 seconds each cloud break...
@CelestialTouch Would love to see pictures in case you had a chance to grab those! I was reading online that Utah was supposed to have very good views. Unfortunately I had to fly out at an odd time and miss the eclipse.
@CuddlykittenPup Sorry, no pics, just watched as best we could from a grocery store parking lot through occasional breaks in the clouds for few minutes with our cool solar sunglasses provided by a cool NASA Ambassador. The ones who went to southern utah had a better more complete eclipse anyway. More complete eclipses help photographers get good pics of the suns corona.

My boyfriend and I saw it from a plane, half-way between Colorado and Nevada. Surreal.
