How would you go about teaching someone to cuddle who feels inexperienced?
I know the obvious answer is just to cuddle them ...
I offer a newbie cuddle on my cuddle menu.
The Newbie Cuddle - 2 hours - $180 ($160 with a 50% deposit) This cuddle is designed for the "Virgin Platonic Cuddler". If you are wondering what this "platonic" cuddle stuff is all about, than this is the cuddle for you! We will spend time going over everything that you need to know, as the client, in order to be the best cuddle partner that you can be. We will review the Client Agreement, appropriate behavior, how to ask for what you want and how to communicate during a cuddle, all while laying in bed sharing warm cuddles. We will review a multitude of cuddle positions so you will know exactly what to ask for during your future cuddle with other partners. We can discuss any questions you may have, no matter how "embarrassing" you may think they are. All sessions are treated with utmost privacy. Let's get started on getting you that 5-Star cuddle rating and prepare you to be the best cuddler that you can be!
@Scarlette Have you had some newbie cuddles so far? How did they go?
Did they ask any interesting questions?
Edit: And can I ask what kinds of positions you show them?
It's a fairly new cuddle so I haven't done that specific cuddle but I do incorporate a lot of that info into a cuddle with a virgin cuddler, just not to that degree.
I have heard and responded to a ton of questions. Naturally, lots of questions regarding boundaries and arousal. Typically, those questions are answered prior to climbing into bed with them.
Brand new cuddlers ( the ones that have never even heard of platonic cuddling) are so in the weeds, they really don't even know what questions to ask. Obviously, we have reviewed all of the important guidelines prior to the cuddle but once the cuddle begins they usually need some coaxing to truly open up. That is where a good, experienced pro cuddler does her magic.
Mmm. Cuddles
Yes cuddle
@respectful - I put together what the cuddler has told me about himself, his background and his anxieties, if any, with how he is reacting in the moment. If he's shy and anxious, I go slowly, I check in with him a lot, asking him "are you relaxed, do you like this kind of touch, it's okay if you want to touch my back," things of that nature. With some people, I might give them more information such as, "that type of movement is more sexual in nature, it's best not to do that; your future cuddle companions won't like it and won't ask you back." I don't want to give the impression of giving my cuddler a lecture. That might make him feel inadequate. But if he asks for information or advice on cuddling positions, I'll happily educate him.
One cuddler told me he had social anxiety. I anticipated he might enjoy having me hold him, give him a head massage, anything like that to relax him. After about a half hour, when he had fully relaxed, he asked me if he could give me a back rub. He really wanted to spend more of his time giving me a back rub than having me cuddle him, and that's what he spent the next hour or so doing. I was happy to oblige!
There's no one size fits all approach. The best cuddlers, like the best teachers, tailor their approach specifically to what the client/cuddlebuddy/student seems to need.
@Scarlette, @BlueIris Thank you. The person who wants to learn more about cuddling is female by the way, and interested in becoming a professional.
I'm sure having an actual experienced cuddler to introduce you is the best, however, there are lots of websites that cover the subject that would give you some good background information before you begin. Here's a very basic one https://www.wikihow.com/Cuddle
@UKGuy That wikiHow page says, "literally, don’t jump on them, no matter how impatient you are".
That advice sounds reasonable! Lol.
@respectful BWAHAHAHAHA! Maybe the wiki page is getting cuddling mixed up with wrestling or MMA?
Maybe act as a cuddle guide? For example, show them different ways to cuddle and stick with the cuddling style they feel most comfortable with.
