Habit stacking offers several benefits that can significantly impact your personal and professional life. Here's a few:
🔥Simplifies the Adoption of New Habits When you stack a new habit onto an existing one, you're essentially "piggybacking" off a behavior that's already ingrained in your routine. This makes remembering and adopting the new habit easier, as it becomes a natural extension of something you're already doing.
🔥Creates a Structured Routine Habit stacking helps you build a structured routine that can guide your day. This is particularly useful for people struggling with time management or procrastination. A well-designed habit stack can serve as a roadmap for your day, helping you allocate time effectively.
🔥Increases Efficiency By grouping related habits together, you can perform tasks more efficiently. For example, if you have a morning routine that includes exercise, meditation, and planning your day, doing these activities back-to-back can save time and mental energy compared to scattering them throughout the day.
🔥Enhances Focus and Productivity A habit stack can help you transition smoothly from one activity to the next, reducing the mental load of deciding what to do next. This can enhance your focus and make you more productive, as you're not constantly shifting gears between different types of tasks.
Plus...
🔥Builds Momentum Successfully completing a habit stack can give you a sense of accomplishment early in the day, building momentum that can carry you through more challenging tasks. This psychological boost can be incredibly motivating.
🔥Promotes Holistic Well-being You can design your habit stack to include activities that promote physical health, emotional well-being, and professional growth. This balanced approach can positively impact multiple areas of your life.
🔥Customizable to Individual Goals The beauty of habit stacking is that it's highly customizable. Whether you want to grow your business, improve your health, or develop personally, you can tailor your habit stack to align with your specific goals.

It's that time of year again - when people yell at strangers on the internet about proper pumpkin care and wildlife health. 🎃
There’s a lot of misinformation out there, so your favorite wildlife nerds at USFWS are sharing a friendly PSA below with key facts and considerations this spooky szn.
✨ Remember: Critters will likely eat (or at least nibble on!) your carved jack-o’-lanterns. Squirrels, raccoons, deer, moose, foxes, mice and insects might feast on the delicious orange porch snack you leave near your front door. “How nice of you!” they probably think as they eat their weight in slimy pumpkin goodness.
✨ Painted pumpkins can make for an easier way to create a fun or creepy jack-o'-lantern. However, a painted pumpkin can potentially be toxic to wildlife if they eat it. If you choose to paint your pumpkin, please keep it indoors and away from any critters who might feast on its painted flesh. You can also explore nontoxic paint options made with natural ingredients when possible.
✨ In recent years, social media users have posted various “tricks” to keep a carved pumpkin from rotting so quickly. Keep in mind that letting nature take its course is always an option. Carved pumpkins are eventually going to decompose one way or another. Always follow the directions of any product you’re applying to a pumpkin for your safety and others’ (including wildlife!).

Guess whose birthday it is!
Happy 119th Birthday to Robert the Doll!
Wild things have been said about him, which is saying something considering Robert is thought by some to be the most haunted artifact in the Florida Keys.
The doll stands 40-inches tall and is stuffed with excelsior, or wood wool made of slivers cut from logs. The eyes are shoe buttons and the face, originally, was painted like a court jester. Those colors have long since faded and all that is left of the façade is the doll’s spongy countenance.
The Otto family brought the doll to Key West. The Ottos were a prominent Key West family. Thomas Osgood Otto was a third-generation doctor. He married Minnie Elizabeth and they moved into their home at 534 Eaton Street in 1898. It is where Robert Eugene, the youngest of three boys and a girl, was born.
The doll was given to Robert Eugene on October 25, 1904, as a present for his fourth birthday. Robert Eugene gave the doll his first name and kept the name Gene for himself. He also dressed Robert in the sailor suit he wears today. It is one that once belonged to Gene.
Robert has developed his own unique Florida Keys history, much of which has been passed around by barstool historians sipping rum and telling tales. The doll has zero affiliation with Chucky and his successful Child’s Play film franchise. The doll was not stitched together by an angry Bahamian servant. Rather, the doll was a product of Steiff, the same company that produced the first teddy bear. Also, Robert did not attempt to suffocate a ten-year-old girl when he was still living at the Eaton Street address.
What is true is that Robert and Gene were inseparable. A room was built for Robert in the attic, one complete with furniture and toys where he and Gene would spend hours playing. Gene would be heard having conversations that were accompanied by giggling. When no one was in the room, the scratch and thud of objects being dragged across the attic floor could be heard.
When Gene would be accused of boyhood mischief he would declare, “Robert did it!” Today, Robert lives at the Fort East Martello Tower Museum where a wall is decorated with letters apologizing for taking his picture without asking permission. Sometimes, when you take his picture without asking first, people say Robert makes bad things happen. Just in case, ask his permission before taking his picture.
@MissAdventurous i believe he’s actually in a book on the most haunted places/things in FL. I may be thinking of something else but this sounds familiar.
