Difficult people , canceling, game playing, expecting free calls

OK I’m clearly new to the platform, how did pros handle someone difficult?

Is there any recourse?

This person chatted me up for about an hour, said he wanted to book a virtual call, booked the virtual call, asked me to send him an interact transfer, I did so, then he insists that I do the call for free instead, cancels the entire meeting when I decline

    The pro side of the forum is going to have a lot of the info you’re looking for and have a lot of people with experience with this looking. Asking questions like this here will get you answers but some of the time from the very people who do this.

    @MuseSF sorry for your experience and that he wasted your time. I think that maybe you can report him since what he essentially did was somewhat similar to a no call no show, in that you all agreed to a virtual session but he cancelled at the last minute because he didn’t want to pay

    This is standard type of non-platonic scumbag. From the very start his only plan was to obtain a free videocall with you so that he could conduct non-platonic activities. Possibily covertly; possibly overtly; but more likely somewhere in between. His plan was based on the premise that he could bully you into abandoning the fee. To be fair to him, this does work occasionally.

    He is one of a number of standard types which many professionals are not aware of when they enter the profession. They are the bane of other professions too, including massage therapists. With experience you learn what these types are and how to spot them early.

    Block and Report. Even if nothing happens straightaway, it helps the mods build up a pattern of behaviour. People who try to circumvent a ban by creating a new account are re-banned immediately, and my belief is that the site has automated systems for spotting such accounts.

    The orangey-red flag was "chatted me up for about an hour". This is rarely a good sign.

    A professional cuddle training course, of which there are several, helps considerably with this kind of problem because it will help the professional understand and implement boundaries.

    I don’t entertain these type of people. They like to waste time and clearly have no intention of handling things above board. Block and move on :)

    Negative karma is warranted in this situation. Describe the interaction factually with a timeline which can be documented with all your on-site and offsite communications. Do not worry about retaliatory karma, that will be handled by mods.

    @RadiantHugs negative Karma may well be warranted, but it is not permissible in this case. Karma is for people you have actually met (in person or virtually), with the only exception being a no-show. Since the videocall did not happen, Karma may not be written.

    @CuddleDuncan apparently there was a booking for a video call and a last minute cancellation. This is subject to interpretation, but I would consider it a no show.

    Well dang @MuseSF - between this incident and the one you posted about earlier today, you're off to an interesting start. 😆 But don't lose heart... there really are some decent people out there.     brace yourself, it gets worse lol.
    This is why I have advocated for a pro orientation since I first got here and noticed all the slimy shenanigans directed at us, and I think its pretty rotten naive new cuddlers dont get at least a terse heads up in their inbox when they join.
    You need to have personal policies that protect you, in addition to what the site provides, or you will keep getting rolled until you wise up, and wise up you will, one way or the other. If you want to wise up without having all the extra love, openness, and patience required to be a cuddler drained out of you by the wrong end of the U curve, Visit the pros forum, seek guidance, and get your policies in place before you even interact with anyone else here. This is a social media site with every color of the character rainbow, and the newer you are, the more the degenerates target you.

    @stormydaycuddle yeah I think thats where we all end up AFTER we have been adequately targeted and abused enough to wonder what we were thinking and quit! We're adults and should know better, but its obvious we don't. This community could use more tough love upfront, for the new pros who are eager to please young women who have never established an expectation of respect or boundaries for themselves in any situation, and the enthusiasts who are frequently complaining of being "scammed by a pro" who we eventually find out wasn't even registered, or was perhaps a registered new pro -with am empty 2 day old account and titty pic thumbnail.

    Question for the pros. How do y'all get paid? Like do we pay through the site, and the site takes it's cut and pays you the rest?

    Or do y'all pay a fee to the site that's flat? And then any money that comes through you get?

    @peacefulcuddler the client pays the professional cuddler directly by whatever means they specify. Always at the start of the session, or in advance. Cash is the most common but many professionals use other methods.

    The site subsequently charges the professional's credit card 15% of the session fee.

    To put it another way, the client hires the professional and the professional hires Cuddle Comfort.

    CC is a social networking site, not any kind of agency.

    Since @CuddleDuncan's comment was flagged I wanted to confirm it is partially correct, Karma can only be left for someone if they met for a session (in person or virtually) or if there was a confirmed session booked and either person was a no-show (again, in person or virtual). Simply talking with someone on the site and having a negative experience with them doesn't allow you to leave Karma, but booking a virtual session and backing out last minute (less than 12 hours) would be considered a no show and Karma can be left.
