soothed by your stillness - a tempest blows mightily but we’re safe and sound
That’s pretty
Thanks for sharing!
Love this 💕
A poet who lived by the bay Would often reverse L and A. The after-storm clam And soft soothing blam Are things that he wrote of today.
@MonkeyNeedsAHug thank you for the pep talk earlier you are the best. 🥹🥹 @JoyfulHeart 🤗
Beautiful 😍
Your haiku is better than mine, but I offer the following for some chuckles. I wrote it on the occasion of accidentally shaving my beard because I sneezed e-bike trimming.
Requiem for a Beard in Sacred Haiku
I. Introit Grant rest eternal, This manly form of fur which calls My face home no more
II. Kyrie Eleison Gilette Have mercy Schick, Bic, Steel blades have mercy. Lost beard, have mercy.
III. Dies Irae My beard was wrathsome Shorn angrily to sinkside. Anger. Pain. Remorse
IV. Confutatis I am confounded Doomed! Flames of unfounded woe. Cheeks feel naught but cold.
V. Lacrimosa Stubble to stubble, Tears streak down my reddened face. Dust turns back to dust.
VI. Beardus Dei Barbatum dei, Tollis pecatta mundi Beardus requiem
VII. Libra Mei Bewhisker me, face, That I may roam in bearded love In thy dwelling place.
VIII. In paradisum May divine stubble Lead me to the holy place: Bearded, covered face
