This thread is a clearinghouse of fascinating information. Thanks for posting, @CSnMUS87
@TxTom you're welcome and thanks for the kind words.
So I found a place that offers FREE boot camps in things such as software development and cybersecurity for anyone that's interested. Not everyone who applies gets accepted though. The big catch for me for example is that they require you to be in class from 9:00 to 4:00 Monday through Friday, and say to expect around 20 hours a week outside of class working on materials (homework and studying). I can't stop working to do this. Anyway to anyone who might be interested here's the link:

YEAH MEGADETH \m/ headbangs Thank you for sharing this wonderful information I can't wait to dig into it an hopefully watch my head swell with knowledge.
I find this quite endearing. I just signed up for the guitar lessons, thank you! I've had my grandfather's guitar on the wall for the last few years and I know he would want me to play it. In my teens I noticed his old acoustic was so worn out, so I gave him my Gibson. It didn't seem right to have such a beautiful guitar being unused. I will never forget the joy on his face when I handed the case to him. It was a dark joke that when he decided to die on us, (know, dark humor, ish) I would get the Gibson back to finally play it. 20 years later he was placed on hospice, and gathered the family around. Told them I better darn well get this electric guitar and learn how to play it after he passes. True to his word, I have it instead of the Gibson. He said he'd never forgotten how much love he put into that old guitar, but he wore it out. So he sold it to someone and got the electric one. I can play again, and feel like he's strumming with me. . 😊😊
@Kimset Glad to hear you'll be learning guitar! 😃 Thank you for sharing that story. 😊 I'm sure he's proud. Which lessons did you sign up for anyway out of curiosity, since I posted a few different ones on here?
CSnMUS87 I signed up for David's Megadeth lessons. Maybe a bit extreme for a beginner, I've only had acoustic lessons in the past, but have to start somewhere!😁
I might have to look into that bass class myself, been a while since I slapped some strings. Years ago I had to pawn my bass for grocery money, been trying to find a new bass ever since, just never been the right time. But with all this free time, an new skills I'm picking up, now seems perfect.
