We need to be mindful of posts like this. Not only because it is brought up frequently, but also because the general forum topics are visible on the home page of every user and things like this may be off-putting to new members. There have been a lot of complaints, though no forum poll is necessary to collect data on that one.
To the others, I have been so burnt out lately, my apologies.

As for the topic discussion, I have given non-answers before, but questions like this are just really uncomfortable. I cuddle people that are active on the forums. I would be horrified if they saw my response and then questioned where they fall on my non-existent attractiveness ranking list. Besides, attractiveness has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of cuddles one can provide.
I can make another poll to isolate that variable, but people will be upset.
@Minestrone101 for god's sake no more polls
Almost every woman enthusiast that I talk to or cuddle do not find looks to be the ultimate deteminant of cuddling
I don't believe this has actually happened.
@jplemmon I know if I was cuddling someone and they said attractiveness was not part of their decision, I’d know they are truthful cause they are cuddling me 😂
@CharlieBear I'm not saying that I doubt that it is a reality in general. I totally would believe that men care more about looks. I just think trying to pull something off as a legit study without isolating valid factors such as pro/enthusiast is fairly useless.
@jplemmon Yeah, and considering many respondents are pros who are not allowed to judge based on looks, I think the results will be pretty obvious.
@CharlieBear no need to put yourself down. Like with all of us we have enough detractors willing to do that for us. We all have appeal :-) sometimes we just don’t notice!
Seems like this has been covered ad nauseum here, as well as other previous polls.
Self-important people say your nausea does not matter.
@jplemmon That's fine. No one is trying to force you to believe anything.
@BoomerSpooner No need to be so hard on yourself. You're free to create OPs too.
You're free to create OPs too.
No thank you, I choose not to voluntarily be annoying to the community.
@BoomerSpooner That's nice. But you're taking away from a perfectly good discussion.
@stormydaycuddle @WestsideMarc Don't tag me again please.
Let's allow the people to discuss and not make the threads about something else or personal matters.
I think if someone is collecting data for a class or school or some other purpose than just a question to discuss, it should be made clear what the data is used for. There are certain ways to collect that data, probably not on a forum.
Also, I agree that pros and enthusiasts should be collected as separate data.
As to the question of attractiveness, sometimes murderers are attractive physically. You have to look at the whole picture of who you would agree to cuddle. Just a pic, that’s not enough. It comes down to the person as a whole, not just aspect about them.
There are certain ways to collect that data, probably not on a forum.
Bingo! A forum is by no means scientific sample or even representative of the people on this site.
I voted on the woman’s one so might as well through the study out
This poster is always putting controversial, pot stirring and potentially inflammatory posts and I am tired of it! He posted FOUR posts just yesterday alone. I’ve tried nicely to message him privately to not attack him publicly but he didn’t take it well.
And while this is a public forum for all to see and share I’d like to see a new rule that only allows maybe one new OP per week, per member.
I personally have invalidated the data on countless polls in here by answering something that has no bearing on my life, and I have no opinion on, because I’m interested in seeing the results. I can’t be alone. Others have already called out how non-scientific the gathering of this data has been, so simultaneously needing a fainting couch for getting called out for it, while touting the fact that these polls all supported exactly the point he was trying to make was a little cringe. I’ve got no hard feelings toward the OP, but sometimes when you get caught being a little stinker, the best way out isn’t always to react with pearl clutching.
(If admitting that I’ve invalidated polls of science because I wanted to see the results is a violation of the TOS, I’d like to request a warning instead of a ban. I’ll try to get better about the run-on sentences.)
