I'm not much of one for Christmas movies, but I grew up watching It's a Wonderful Life every year around Christmas and it still strikes me as a good one. Housing is important! (I also like the ballroom / swimming pool scene.)
A Christmas classic
@NickWk, I love that meme. So inaccurate, yet so funny.
"Thy fornicator of motherhood" means "your extramarital sex-haver, who belongs to the state of being a mother."
"Thou fornicator with thine own dam" might come closer to the right meaning.
My all-time favorite is White Christmas, and my modern favorite is The Holiday.

OMG! Don't forget this cult classic throwback! πππ
I love Elf and the newer version of Miracle on 34th Street. We watch Elf year round. My favorite scene is the Escalator scene. Iβd love to hear YOUR fav scene in it!!
@CuddleHugs01234 @SunsetSnuggles I have to say I've never been a fan of Elf even tho I love Will Ferrell. It's very strange. Same thing with Adam Sandler: everyone loves Waterboy and I hate that movie!! lol
@Minestrone101 I saw Elf once and hated it. π¬
@SunsetSnuggles Good! π π π one too many times. lol
Okay definitely not a favorite, but has anyone seen Violent Night? βοΈ I was snickering so hard... Those epic fight scenes with the lovely Christmas music laid over the ketchup-spewing bloodbaths... Oh my gosh. πππ
@NickWk you beat me to that meme! Iβve shared that one that the last few years when people say Die Hard isnβt a Christmas movie. I always introduce it as, βancient scrolls foretold the coming of Die Hard as a Christmas tradition.β Always get laughs including this week in PT and getting my haircut.
@RedFox16 I like your enthusiasm for Die Hard as. Christmas movie.
Some people have Advent calendars to count down to Christmas. I know itβs time for Christmas after seeing Hans Grueber getting dropped from the Nakatomi Tower.
Besides Die Hard, other favorites of mine include Itβs a Wonderful Life and the original Miracle on 34th Street. They just donβt make movies like that anymore.
@TR23 Definitely classics in every way. I've seen both countless times.
I just LOVE the original Grinch movie!
