Don’t see the point , especially if you have to pay to do it. I rather just continue my virtual therapy with my therapist and it’s covered with my insurance. The thing that makes cuddlecomfort shine is the ability to have that physical touch .

  • That's what I was wondering, as I've had a couple of requests for it in the past, now I'm exploring the options based on what I've seen on other Pro's.

  • I used to be really against them but I've done some virtuals in the last few months. Mainly I do it if I'm considering traveling to meet someone and I want to make sure it's a good fit. Or, even if you just really want to check on the personality fit to avoid wasting the money of an in person session you can always do a 30 min virtual as insurance.

I have heard of people trying to turn these into a guided self-cuddle kind of thing. To me that's weird as hell haha. But maybe some people make it work. I just use them as a chance to get to know someone and have a conversation.

You want to cuddle, for the proximity for the physical touch that is the main purpose. A virtual session could be something to talk or validate the other person before the actual meeting.

I am my daughters only parent so sometimes it’s hard to find time to meet in person so I appreciate the ability to connect with people virtually inbetween in person meetings

I’m new, and I can’t speak on this from experience, on this site, but what I can say is that it will always differ depending on who you ask. Virtual appointments may be good for someone who just needs that connection but doesn’t feel comfortable doing it in person. Physical touch may be best for others. The whole point of this site is Comfort. If one thing comforts you more than another, and there is someone here willing to do that, then it meets the needs of the partner, and that is what matters. 🤗❤️

  • I do Skype chats all the time. It may not be for everyone but I know sooooo many people that find a lot of good to it. Some just chat with me. Others said lay word games and quizzes. Some do yoga with me. A couple have played minecraft with me. I had a few position the phone so it looks like we’re laying down face to face. And some do that and fall asleep. There’s a lot that can be involved in video chats 🌸

love virtual sessions 😄😃😃 they are so convenient and useful for individuals who live too far away to meet in person. I think it’s a wonderful tool/resource to give people the option to choose from so that they can get their cuddle needs met regardless of their location/circumstance(s).

In person is great and probably preferred by most people, but I equally enjoy both forms of cuddling and connection so I’ve no preference and I fully agree that virtual cuddles are being requested much more than they used to be and I am happy that people are taking part in choosing an option that might be best for them ☺️

    ~ Happy Cuddling Everyone 🤗 ~

  • I use to think they were pointless but now I love them! It’s so easy and convenient and a great way to get to know someone. I’ve never had a bad experience with anyone on a virtual, but I have had some awkward sessions in person! so at this point I welcome all virtuals lol. it’s actually a lot more fulfilling than ppl realize. It’s like talking to an old friend- for me at least.

  • @charkh1992 I think you will find that what works for one may not work for another and that no particular personality really enjoys both here. I would not let that dissuade you from exploring the option to provide them as a service.

Perhaps reach out to someone already experienced in offering virtual sessions and have one for yourself, then ask for advice and tips on how to provide meaningful virtual sessions on your own.

I love virtual chats, I have had the best conversations and helped people fall asleep. It’s hard especially for clients who are in rural places, single parents, or very little alone time.

  • Virtual sessions are good with a licensed mental health therapist. With professional cuddling, I'm paying to be physically touched.

  • You can't cuddle virtually, so what is the point of a virtual session? If you're willing to pay my hourly rate just to talk to me, I'll happily do a virtual session. Other than that, I don't see the point.

  • Hey, thank you for the feedback, but some keep mentioning "therapist"
No one is implying therapist as we are not discussing past trauma and working on getting through life and past that.
I can tell the ones who have had sessions and ones who haven't.
I'm just curious into the virtual world of this form of connection.
Again, therapists are there to work through trauma and provide medication (if needed) different ball game, here! I have therapist too, and I'm sure from the positive perspectives of virtual, I am pretty sure a therapist isn't going to sit there (as others have commented) watch a movie, communicate to ease sleep and tension. So, please may we stop using the titles of "therapist"
    Thank you!

I'm new here but I think virtual sessions are great for long term friends you make that are to far away. Great conversation and it's kinda reminds me of a girlfriend experience but purely platonic. Have a great night everyone

  • They have nothing to do with me so I don't care. It's not for me to decide the value they have for other people.
