@JohnR1972 brought up a really cool idea for a Meet & Greet in Michigan this year for Labor Day. This group of Peace Minded People who tend to be accepting of others no matter their lifestyle preference etc. seems like it would be the perfect environment for something like us cuddle minded peeps.
Looks like $30 a day to attend and if you want to get a campsite or RV spot its around $200 for the weekend. Maybe someone up there in the GREAT LAKES area would be interested in spearheading this?? 🔆💕🌈🦋💕✨

It doesn’t really count as a convention but last September I attended “Hippie Living Fair” just outside Grand Rapids, MI. It features live music, numerous food trucks, camping, vendor booths, etc. I attended with someone I met on this site and we both thought it would be a perfect place to hold a CC meet and greet in September 2024. I don’t know what the vendor booth / tents cost but I the way the event was set up, I suspect the prices were reasonable. There is plenty of parking and the vibe of the whole event was open, friendly and laid back. It truly seemed like an ideal place to do a meet and greet. We were only there for Friday evening but the whole event runs Friday through Sunday. There are a lot of CC members in Michigan and the Ionia Fairgrounds are about 3.5 hours from Chicago where we have a LOT of members. The event is early September which in that part of Michigan is beautiful during the day and a bit cool in the evening. Everyone will need to bring a lawn chair or blanket if they want to watch the live music in the evening (I found out the hard way the stadium seats were closed so you either have to stand or BYOC).
I am definitely interested in any in California. Keeping my eyes open!

I was thinking about having a meet and greet again in Atlanta, but meet at a restaurant. I loved meeting in the park in Roswell, it was amazing, but meeting at a location where we just have to show up may be ideal. We set a time and location then go from there. Nothing to really bring or have to load or unload. I’m just thinking out loud, lol. Let me know!!!! 🤗🤗🤗

@The_HeartDonor All of the Meet & Greets have been organized by community members. If you look at the beginning of the thread you will be able to get an idea of how things "sort of" happen. THAT BEING SAID.... there are a million different ways to do things. So I suppose the anser to "trying to understand how everything goes" is best described as "it depends on the organizer." @Babichev was the first to introduce this get together in St. Louis after the pandemic which shall not be named. Outside. Public space. NOT A CUDDLE PARTY just a connection of like minded souls. As far as Indianapolis.... The closest was last year when @OhioMike facilitated the "Rose-CO Meet & Greet" in Columbus a few hours away from you. It was LOVELY!!!
