.....relationship you’ve been in?
Currently 17 yrs
A year or so I think? I am not sure exactly. I've only ever been in one real one and it was like 15 years ago.
Friendship, 12 years.
Romantic relationship, 6 years.
My wife and I have been married for 18 years. We have known each other for 32 years but have officially been in a relationship for 28 years.
Longest friendship would be 24 years and still going strong. Longest romantic relationship would be two that we made it to 7 months... one started out as friendship that we had for a couple years before getting together and realized we were better suited as friends and the other we started dating for a month or so before getting into a relationship. I don't have luck finding good people to have a romantic relationship with.. so I stick to friendships and cuddling
Marriage of 10 years and childhood friend of nearly 40 years and going strong!
My relationship with my mother: 28 (going on 29) years. Even my relationship with the written word isn't that long!
On the other hand, I also have a fairly nasty relationship with this body of mine (stupid, uncooperative, hypersensitive thing), and I've been in that for about 29 years, too. I have a good relationship with my mother, though, and not a very good one with this wretched Iron Maiden... does it matter what sort of relationship it is, @Morpheus?

Married 25 years, now divorced. My lesson learned: It's not the length of a relationship that matters so much as the quality of the relationship.
Romantic: 2 Years Friendship: coming up on 14 years soon! Which I never sat back and thought about because it’s felt like she’s just always been there.
Romantic 0, friendship 30 plus years
I was on a walk with my wife and dogs today when an elderly couple stopped and wanted to visit with our dogs. They were from the Ukraine and were both in their late 80s. They said they’ve been married for 65 years. They said they got married the day after they met. They said both of their sons have been married for 35 years. It was a very sweet and beautiful moment to chat with them.

@Morpheus. I had a patient at one time that was in his 90's, as was his wife. I spent time with him as my patient then I was fascinated with his wife. I asked her the secret to being married for almost 70 years. She said "It's easy. We accept that we aren't perfect. When I was weak he pulled me through. When he was weak I pulled him through. We never gave up."
It literally makes me cry to think of them. I will never forget those words of wisdom.
My current relationship has lasted about ten years.
