@Minestrone101 Lol.๐ Look at it like this, if I ever comment WITHOUT an emoji, you'll know something ain't right...๐๐
Weren't emojis the primary form of communication in the movie Idiocracy?
@TxTom I wouldn't know, as I've never watched it. I have heard of Idiocracy but I've never watched it...๐คทโโ๏ธ๐
@Katota
@TxTom do I have a movie recommendation for you lol ๐
@lonelytauros Thank you! ๐
@lonelytauros Lol! Now that movie I have definitely watched. ๐๐๐
I use personality to understand communication style. I found The Color Code by Taylor Hartman (The 1st edition) to be the most basic and easy to understand. In it, he breaks personality down to 4 groups being Power, Peace, Intimacy, and Fun. Each group chooses words, body language, and sentence structure etc. that accommodates their personality (or combinations of personality styles). So I see language as being motivated by personality and personality as an indication of a person's communication style.

@PeopleLikeUs I found your comment to be a very simple way of explaining my communication style, because it's all rooted in my personality and how I present myself as a person. Thank you so much!๐๐
@PeopleLikeUs hmm. I'd be curious how this works with people who don't fit so neatly into one category, though? Does that make it harder to anticipate how to communicate with them?
