Just writing to say that your semantics are all wrong. Language is a cooperative effort. And context gives words meaning.
So, asking somebody a question typically suggests more than idle curiosity about the answer.
Not convinced? Here’s an experiment you can try. Walk into a biker bar in a tough part of town and try asking people if they have a problem. To anybody who responds, try asking them if they want to fight.
