@CuddleHugs01234 Those are great tips thank you!
I guess I am a red flag because I think it's improper to show up at someone's door with surprises.
I would explain about comfort levels of people and how two people can do no wrong but also be incompatible but meh, not feeling it right now.
@mercedesislove Thank you for your response, it's nice to see OP actually engaging for a change! ok so to clarify the comments regarding the Karma: I was wondering why someone who commented about the situation presented by you chose to make assumptions about one of the parties involved and not about the other based on the information at hand. (just exposing hypocrisy in general here, not much about you or the person who made the comment) Concluding that the client's decision (which I consider to be a safety measure) to decline the session, was some sort of an admission of guilt of wanting "more than cuddling" is much more of a stretch then for someone to interpret the referenced Karma as if "more:" is being offered. and if you think there's nothing wrong with it then read it again and put yourself in the place of some men that might read it and if you care than thank me for pointing it out and consider having it altered as it DOES send wrong messages
No one is saying that men are intrinsically dangerous
you should spend more time here .
Take care
1) You NOT WRONG, and are completely entitled to have someone bring you to a session or at the VERY LEAST, know where you are and who you are with.
2) You ARE WRONG in thinking that a client has a RIGHT to know that you have been brought by someone/someone is keeping tabs on you. (Although it is probably a good idea to put them on warning for your safety).
3) I have a feeling that you may have dodged a very big bullet by having him cancel on you.
Should have mentioned it
@mercedesislove at what point was your friend going to walk away?
@Morpheus once I was safely inside since it was dark out. My friends never come to the door just watch me go in ☺️
@Mr_Cuddle_Bear I agree! I only let people know out of courtesy but really someone bringing me, or how I’m getting to the session is not something they must know. When you hire a service to come to your home you don’t ask how the person is getting there or who is driving. Its not like my friends come to the door they stand far enough back to make sure I get in or they stay in the car and watch me go in!
@Sooson 💯

Oh, yes they are! Perhaps not you, but many others are, certainly.

So I just read your update....
"I should have given a second consult.I am fully aware that people should be informed in advance out of courtesy but it’s definitely not a requirement to tell the person someone is bringing me."
After all this you really don't think it's a requirement to tell your client that someone is bringing you and he or she will be walking you to their door before the appointment to ensure you get inside safely, I would have to say you're doing it wrong. That should definitely be a requirement. Particularly part of the vetting process if you're weary about safety getting inside someone's space. Your client should already have acknowledged and expected the company walking you to their door.
I just think there's a better practice that can be made on your behalf. If a cuddler ever walks up to my door with another man or woman with them and I didn't know anything of it, they'd possibly be greeted in true TX fashion..... Bc how do I know it's not a set up?
Communication is key and speaks volumes
@Cuddlesofcuddle said it.
Communication is key...
Personally, I have no problem with a cuddler being escorted to my place for her own peace of mind as long as she communicates that ahead of time.
And I have had cuddlers tell me beforehand that they will not be a guest if there is anyone else present at my house besides me. And that is perfectly okay.
Many of the issues discussed on these forums can be avoided with clear, upfront, and honest communication.
@TxTom I agree with you on all points and especially about some people vilifying men.
@Cuddlesofcuddle you misunderstand, this is something I already do automatically ( inform the client in advance!) and it’s for everyone’s safety that I do this. However, like @Mr_Cuddle_Bear said, no one is entitled to know who is bringing me. Especially if the person is not going into my cuddler’s homes. That doesn’t mean I don’t still inform them, but it isn’t an issue of them being required to have or entitled to the info.
Gotcha. I sure hope it's something you continue to do with success so you don't find yourself asking a public forum if you're right or wrong. Also for the comfort of cuddlers paying good money for a relaxing experience. Stay safe
@Cuddlesofcuddle you stay safe as well, everyone has their own rules and safety protocols. Healthy discussion is perfectly fine. That’s what public forums are for Have a great day
