Hi everyone, just and idea, may have been discussed before, but i thought about a social gathering of cuddling! What is everyone idea on this?
I've been to quite a few cuddle parties hosted by professionals. They were really cool, really nice to just talk to and observe lots of different styles and preferences.
@jackyboy @izkanti I've been to a lot of cuddle parties and also hosted them before joining the site. They are a lot of fun! They are a great way to learn about different cuddling styles and the cuddling community in general. You should look up cuddle parties on Meetup.com or the Facebook groups. You will usually find local meetups and groups that host them or you can even request to be a host in.
Not everyone enjoys social gatherings or parties. As an introvert, those situations make me very uncomfortable. I am at my best interacting one to one with another person, and at my worst in big groups.
@UKGuy That's a good point. I believe there are some Facebook groups and Meetup.com groups which are just about finding a cuddle buddy. It depends on the city, but you might try to see if there are any local groups in your area.
There are definite differences between cuddle parties and individual sessions. Some people enjoy both, and some people really need the one-on-one situation (and some people can really only afford the cuddles so really need to try to make it work). I myself prefer one-on-one, but did thoroughly enjoy the party I went to. It was incredibly difficult for me though, as my nature is to make sure everyone feels accepted and not like an outsider, and there were a lot of people there for me to be feeling energy from at one time.
@ubergigglefritz You are right. They each have a different focus and it really just depends on the cuddling style an individual prefers.
A cuddle party is more of a fun event, meant to ease people into cuddling in a fun way. There are often a lot of new cuddlers in cuddle parties but there can sometimes be groups of experienced cuddlers too. However it is a focus on a group rather than an individual so the individual needs of each person are transferred to more of a collective effort.
Individual cuddle sessions are very different. They are personalized for the cuddle partner based on what their cuddling preferences are. More details need to be exchanged like personal boundaries and other things related to the cuddling session.
I personally like both. But this is different for everyone.
I also like public cuddling as well.
