Persistent cuddler

A cuddler on here has made around 20 new pages to try to request a cuddle from me. They are banned each time because they have been banned for sending inappropriate messages and photos in the past. The user always creates a similar suggestive user name, chooses the same age, and same location which is how I am able to recognize them each time. I’ve never met with the cuddler and have not spoken to them almost at all. It’s incredibly disturbing at this point. Has similar happened to anyone else?

  • Occasionally some stalker/troll types will be more persistent than usual, which is true online anywhere not just for this site. Be sure to not interact with him at all - don't reply to messages, don't view his profile, just block and report. Any sort of attention, even negative attention, feeds into them continuing. You might try DMing one of the mods as well, though I'm sure he's already on their radar.

    Hang in there!

  • Also, if you like you can DM me more info and get him in MY radar. I regularly comb through new accounts and flag them for mods to review, so if I get info from you on his patterns I'll know what to look for 😈

  • @ReneLove So sorry this is happening to you! I would suggest editing your post to remove the part describing how you know it's him, though; anyone can read this message board even without an account, so he could read it and change his tactics to gain access to you.

Big hugs and stay safe out there!!

Devs - have you guys looked at IP blocking? Or already do and this person is circumventing it?

  • @donhulio Mods can access IP's, but some have dynamic IP addresses and are slippery little buggers, it seems.

This is disturbing. I was going to write a short jokey comment about how you could pretend to meet up with him, have a team of highly trained specialists in white coats standing by to pick him up.

But you know, it’s just horrible isn’t it? All you can do is hope that these people get the help, or indeed, prison cell they so desperately need.

  • I'm sorry this happened.

Yeah. Hope this works out. I know disturbing stuff like this can wear on your mental health. All I can say I support you and I hope you keep having good clients to counter balance this person.

@zerolight40 I was thinking a similar thing yesterday about Chris Hansen having an episode of To Catch a Predator : Cuddle Edition.

  • [Deleted User]zerogone40 (deleted user)

@Minestrone101 I was thinking along those lines, but Hansen usually has a sheriff there to walk in on the guy. 🤔

It’s just horrible. Sometimes I think the internet is like the Wild West. Minus the horses.

    @zerolight40 That's because it is.

@WriterGF And here’s me without my six shooters.

@SunsetSnuggles Yea they did end up reading this forum and created a new page across the country and included photos to try to throw me off. It’s always very obvious that it’s them so I don’t feel worried. I also have a tough vetting practice so he would never get a chance to meet me. It’s just unfortunate that people have to be weirdos and can’t just be normal. I can’t imagine how sad someone’s life must be to sit at home and spend all their time doing something like this.

@ReneLove It's an obsession. They get to thinking that if they can try for hard and long enough you might come around and suddenly be in their life. You'll see them for who they really are and save them from their miserable existence. As if, you're the antidote to something deeply wrong with their psyche. It's a kind of tunnel vision. The only way out is for them to be 'snapped' out of it by some sort of external influence. Qualifications: I have OCD. I'm not an expert, but I've recognized similar behavior in myself, although, I'm at pains to point out I've never done this sort of thing.

But the obsessive, tunnel vision type activity, where you can go for days, months, solely, rigidly focused on one task to the detriment of everything else, is the same.

Or, he could just be an a-hole. 🤔

  • @zerolight40 Thank you for this insight I appreciate it!

  • Yes I've had a couple of those. When you can recognize exactly who it is when it's a blank profile sending 3 word messages, that's when you know it's WHACK.
Made me much more unapologetically selective who I will engage with.
