When I joined CC, I was getting 15 messages or so every couple of hours. Then things died down. When I travel and change the location, I get a lot of messages again. Iā€™d love to continue getting business in Austin where I reside. How can I crack CC algorithm and make myself more visible in search?

    It sounds like the longer you remain in one area the more likely you'll experience a diminishing ROI.

    Austin is not as much of a hub as is DFW or Houston, nor as big of a market, so the potential client pool stagnates much quicker here.

    It sounds like you already know what is required to be done, but that requirement conflicts with a preference.

    I don't believe it's a search algorithm issue, at all.

    In searches, the most recently-online users show at the top, so as long as you're active, and your profile falls within a user's search parameters, you'll always be in the results.

    Basically, everyone checked out the new kid on the block. It took awhile for everyone to cycle through, as they signed in over time and noticed you.

    Now, you're down to those you retained interest from for repeat bookings, and waiting for new users to sign up in your area.

    Some ideas for how to bring back some of your previous clients for another session...

    1 - Change your profile picture up, so they notice something new.
    2 - Lower your pricing, so you fall within more peoples' price range or preferences.

    You've already got a lot of great things in your favor, like your photos, the amount of Karma tagging you with a star in search view, wide open availability, non-smoker, being willing to travel, and having a well-spoken manner. šŸ˜Š

    I don't think you need to crack anything. Being active is what helps with visibility. And yes agree with above, being new might have been part of the initial mass influx. Can't see anything specifically about your profile content or pictures that are unwelcoming.

    Only thing for me personally would be the rate. Maybe it is your area, not sure, but here it is on the high ends.

    @Tatsy, you've already gotten some excellent advice from a number of enthusiasts here--in particular I think @SunshineSnuggl had some excellent recommendations.

    The best way to get more profile views is to change your pics occasionally and login to the site multiple times a day to keep your profile at the top of the search. Building a reputation for answering all messages promptly and with a friendly tone will pay off in spades (you'd be shocked at how many fail this simple test).

    Don't lose heart. Everyone gets a ton of messages in the beginning. After a time, business in your area will inevitably slow down. If you want that "new girl in town" level of interest consistently, the only option is to travel.

    You do have the good fortune of being in a large metro area that attracts out of towners. Consider specials or packages that appeal to travelers or be willing to travel to city center hotels.

    If you are looking to hack any system, it might be using your own social media and advertising to promote cuddling generally and attract new people to the site. There are a number of cuddlers who have gone this route and make good livings at it.
