    Are you trying to make contact with enthusiasts or pros? If you are writing to female enthusiasts, it's very, very rare to hear anything back.

  • Enthusiasts. I've messaged a few people in my area and most just straight up say no or they don't respond

  • Keep trying. You have a good profile. And you are a chef. That’s a great selling point!! Cuddle and eat!!!

    @BrotherB3ar Be patient & persistent! It's just like anything in life, if it's worth treasuring it requires time and commitment. Finding the right person to cuddle with you where you vibe makes all the difference. You'll find the right cuddle partner, just keep your mind open!

    I will absolutely agree with @CuddleHugs01234 - Food is a huge motivator 😆 I will never turn down a home cooked meal! Being a talented chef is next-level! Flaunt it 😝

    I wish you the best in your cuddle hunt! Keep your mind open and stay patient. Have a great rest of your week!

    Also, you might consider cuddling with a couple pros to get karma. Being new with no karma yet probably doesn't help your response rate. Also - I don't know what your approach has been when messaging - but most enthusiasts want to get to know people first, and are never going to respond if you just ask to cuddle.

    I'm pretty new here, just my 2 cents. Best of luck on your cuddling journey! 🫂

  • As mentioned, your profile is definitely good :) stay patient

  • Thank you everyone

  • Some enthusiasts actually respond pretty fast. this one for example

  • It really doesn't matter how good your profile is to be honest. most of the enthusiasts I have talked to end up turning pro.
    I even had one not turn pro officially but still ask me for money while I was driving to our second cuddling meetup. I guess she realized she could make money from this but didn't want to involve the site. She eventually deactivated though once she realized you're not supposed to do that.
    I also have many who start talking and then suddenly you see that "pro-activation" label on their profile.
    It would be far easier to find an enthusiast if they weren't given the option to turn pro so easily. The 30+ messages in their inbox asking for cuddles helps them realize its very smart to make money off something you wanted anyway. :)

  • @Melancholy
    I've been an enthusiast for two years now, and still have no interest in going Pro. 😊 I want to cuddle because I click with people, not because they throw money at me.

  • I take the "be active in the forums and hope for the best" approach but I realize that isn't for everyone. I agree with the previous statements that you have a good profile (I'm also new to this) and not to give up. I wish you the best and most awesome cuddles ^w^

    Establishing contact with the RIGHT people is the first step. The second step is reliant on your charm, wit, grace and patience. If luck is a thing, that could come into play too.

  • These ladies are flooded with messages (just like dating apps) so unless you stand out they just dont have the time to respond...sorry it is what it is

    I would also like to offer this encounter I had some weeks ago... I was shopping and came across an old woman riding around in one of those complimentary riding carts. She had a sad look, but still stopped to talk to me, commenting on my foldable bike/shopping cart. After a moment I offered her a hug, and when I did she practically melted in my arms. I asked her if she would like to get together for more hugs and she jumped at it. it IS possible to find a cuddle partner locally.

    That's so precious! 🫠

    💯 Keep trying, but know you’ll have a lower response rate from enthusiasts cause yes we can get bombarded. You have to make yourself stand out.

  • And even standing out doesn't always work. I've followed pretty much every piece of advice and still crickets. Now I don't even try.

    I hear you. Waiting and hoping can feel draining. But if you can’t bring hopeful, positive energy to the forums, then it might be time to take a break. When I was feeling more or less touch-starved, that came across in my interactions. And I had relatively little success here.

    I deactivated my profile. I practiced some self-care for a bit. (That wasn’t easy either, at first. But I returned with a deeper reservoir of good will and patience.) And now that I’m not fixated on a deficit-mentality, my results have been markedly different.

    @Vocalist100 - That's a conundrum I'm trying to figure out. not just on this site, but the internet in general. Do I send first messages? Do I not? Do I wait? Is it okay? Shall I consider becoming a monk, leaving the modern world behind and living in a small caravan in Tashkent? These are all questions to be answered by fate I think.

  • @Vocalist100 So you have asked others here for advice? Does crickets apply to pros as well? I can reccomend someone.

  • And yes age discrimination is real. Not coplaining not blaming just saying

  • @MonkeyNeedsAHug
    Very wise words regarding the positive vibe one brings.

    Obviously everyone goes through difficult times and no one is expected to be perky all the time. But when a negative outlook turns into open anger, resentment, and victimhood, it's a red flag and a big turn-off.

    @zerolight40
    I would absolutely recommend that you send the first message. I've been told over and over by the men here that I'm one of very few female enthusiasts who sends a first message.

    The waiting patiently bit is for a response, not for the women to seek you out. Because unfortunately in many, if not most cases, the latter will never happen, regardless of how awesome a guy's profile is.

    @Sooson
    I believe you about ageism. 😔 For what it's worth, age means nothing to me. I've cuddled lovely friends here from 18 to 75.

    @SunsetSnuggles - Oh yes absolutely. I'm not one of those guys who sends 37,589 messages to a persons inbox. I'll fire and forget, and be pleasantly surprised later. 😊 But yeah, I'm a patient kinda fella.

  • @SunsetSnuggles you're a brave woman lol. But seriously not blaming pros or CC. Unenforceable lip-service policies is nothing new and quite common. Not to mention that pros also experiance age discrimination.

  • @zerolight40
    Haha There's a nice balance in there, somewhere! 😁 Constant messages like, "r u there???" are obnoxious, but a sweet, "Hey, hope you're doing well!" once in a blue moon may bump an earlier message we overlooked to the top and remind us. 😊

    @Sooson
    Why brave? All the cuddles were wonderful.

    About the age discrimination, yes, I've met both male enthusiasts, and female Pro's, who told me they lie about their age on here, so they fall within what they perceive as the "desirable" or common search brackets. If one pays close enough attention, some people here miraculously never age. 😏

    For what it's worth, I am my stated age, and you'll see it flip in September. 🍁

  • @Sooson No, it doesn't apply to pros. The problem is the last time I was with a pro, it was so awesome it took all my willpower to not spend all my money and keep it going. Cuddling, like a lot of other things, can get addictive (oddly, it's really the only thing I've ever encountered where I thought that was a possibility), and you end up spending way too much money on it. Strangely, I need a pro who is only adequate, which I find quite ironic.

  • [Deleted User]tedcab (deleted user)

    Your first sentence on profile is 'I've been told I'm a bear by multiple people'. Dude, that would scare the hell out of me if I were a female cuddler.

  • @BrotherB3ar Don't just rely on CC or cuddling, itself. Try striking up a conversation with someone at the grocery store, bookstore, or library.

    Conversation will flow smoothly if it's initiated about something related to where you are. Listen and focus on what she is saying. React to it. Don't allow your mind to become paralyzed by panicking over what to say next.

    A natural, meandering conversation can lead to a new acquaintance, and hopefully, over time, a new friend.

    Good luck to you.
