@Alan_L Welcome to the site. We have two kinds of cuddlers, here:
Pro's, who charge for cuddles, often require a brief video call before meeting, to verify who you are, along with other safety measures. They are usually willing to schedule a cuddle without a lot of chit-chat, first, as long as their safety protocol is met.
Enthusiasts, who cuddle for free, generally like to get to know someone a lot better before agreeing to meet up. The first meeting is often to talk in person, such as at a coffee shop, before cuddling.
In both cases, the odds of either being "up" and open to cuddling at 2:44 in the morning is almost zero. There are quite a few Pro's who openly state that they do not do same-day bookings. Enthusiasts are difficult to connect with in the best of circumstances, because they are highly sought after, and it takes some men months of continuous effort to find one interested in meeting.
If you use the search feature to look through cuddlers in your area, you can message those who have been online recently, and if they respond, you can begin getting to know them, and answer whatever safety questions they may have for you. This is your best bet for eventually finding "free cuddling".
