I don't know if statistics exist on where most cuddling sessions occur. Some people host in their homes, or are only willing to be guests, others rely on hotel rooms. And there are some who primarily want to cuddle in public, at least to start.
From what I have seen, attire is normally comfortable clothing - tank tops, shorts, sweats, that sort of thing.
I wear cotton usually everyday, and that’s what I wear cuddling.

Most sessions I've been to have either been in Hotel rooms or a specalist therapy room in London.
Clothing wise...I have my trusty Mandalorian PJs 😅

I typically wear leggings and a soft t-shirt, and am barefoot with a fresh pedicure.
Many Pro's list what they wear, and what they require/prefer their clients wear, in their profiles. It usually says tank top, shorts, leggings, etc. and they ask the men to wear a t-shirt and shorts, frequently clarifying that boxers do not count as shorts.

As for location, I do the vast majority of my cuddles in public, in parks, laying on a blanket and pillow under a big tree, listening to the birds and the water. 🌳🐦⛲️ 🏞
I also do movie theaters with double recliners, SUV cuddles (my back seats fold down completely flat), and group cuddles in houses, parks, or facilities... 🍿🚙👫🏻👩🏻🤝👩🏼 On occasion if better options aren't available, I'll get cozy on coffee shop couches or in quiet restaurant booths. But I've cuddled in all kinds of interesting places, like ski resort buses, Meow Wolf, or the forest during a snowshoeing excursion. 🚌 🛸 ❄️
For a trusted few who I know very well, I will cuddle in their house, and on the very rare occasion, their hotel. 🏡 🏙
Most people are not like me, though. The majority of cuddles take place in a hotel or someone's residence, after an initial meeting. I am more cautious than many enthusiasts, and I've yet to see a Pro who only cuddles in public. I'm an enthusiast.

Lolol!! @BashfulLoner , I laffed!! lolol (spelling for emphasis!) OT: On the few, glorious times that I've cuddled, I've worn leggings and t-shirts. I'd just like a few more options, maybe.. Oh..And my Cuddlers provided hotel accommodations for our sessions.. Neutral gound, you know?

I host at my home and wear a t-shirt and shorts or soft leggings/lounge pants; most of my cuddlers wear similar or bring pjs.
For outdoor/public cuddle sessions e.g. in parks, then I wear regular clothing although I still try to avoid anything that will be uncomfortable for either of us such as items with chunky zips/buttons/buckles.
I host exclusively from my dedicated home cuddle studio. I usually wear leggings or shorts and a tank top.
If I’m traveling out of town, I usually cuddle at my hotel. If I’m home, I host at my place.

For where the cuddle session takes place, I am fine with hosting or being the guest, I have done both. I have even hosted in a hotel once. For my attire, I will wear shorts and a t-shirt.
It kinda depends on the weather, but I like to wear something soft like PJ pants and a comfy t-shirt. On warm days sometimes I'll pull out my split side harem pants or some cotton shorts, basically anything comfy and breezy.
Pro here. My favorite locations are hotel rooms. They feel most neutral and safest to me. I will go to clients homes if I'm comfortable. Had a few office cuddles too. Lol.
I suggest they wear soft lounge-type clothing, and any pants/shorts with a fly need a secure closure (zipper). No floppy barn door stuff.
My outfit dosen't change, lol. I have multiple sets of: super soft bamboo rayon shorts, brushed acryllic tall socks, cotton or bamboo rayon tank tops, and rayon shrugs.

I've had cuddles in hotel rooms, my place, and at her place. My typical attire is soft shorts (with boxers underneath!) and a t-shirt. I've only cuddled with female pro cuddlers, and they've worn something similar -- PJs, soft shorts or leggings, tshirt, etc.
Short-sleeved t-shirt or tank top. Shorts or stretch pants. Sometimes pajamas.
Socks. Always socks.
(I have scary ugly Hobbit feet)
