I was curious what kind of items folks have found set a pleasant mood for them.

I like the presence of flowing water and most plants with large leaves. Clean and natural together :3

Curious what other people like to have around and if y'all like to switch it up or is there one that's particularly cozy for you?

    I would say I mean it generally, but the things that make me generally comfortable I would also have around while cuddling, in an ideal world at least :)
    But if there is anything you use specifically for cuddling I'm curious to hear that too.

    I tend to lean more towards warm, cozy lighting like candles or a fireplace in the evenings with lots of comfortable furniture/nooks to curl up in with lots of pillows and stuffies. In the daytime I enjoy it best when a space has a lot of natural light, flowing water and greenery if possible, especially if the views are pretty 😍

    Generally speaking, I'd say my mood is most affected by the absence of things...eliminating noise, clearing away clutter...finding auditory and visual peace. 😌

    Also along the visual line, I love bright colors...hot pink, sapphire blue, electric purple, and turquoise. 💕💙💜🩵 These galaxy colors obviously aren't most peoples' idea of calming, but they exude happiness, to me.

    I also like pure white, light grey, and silver (or mirrors). They are clean, simple, and pleasing to the eye. Along with this comes pure white light...it feels fresh and clean.

    As far as objects, I like blankets with texture to them, live edge wood, and rounded furniture (such as bombe chests). Can't say I'm lucky enough to own either of the latter two, however.

    For cuddling, I prefer the great outdoors, under a shade tree, near a water feature. 🏞 I've shared some of these locales, in this thread.

    Warmth is always nice, especially when it's also cold. Like, being by a fire with a blanket in the fall. You're surrounded by cold and it just makes all the warm more appreciated from the fire and other person.
    The stuffies are adorable too, I like the shark ones a lot :relaxed:

    I love that actually, it's one of my favorite color pallets. Space makes me feel oddly cozy thinking about it in general, just thinking about how small we are huddled together. I guess it's more of that cold making the warm feel warmer for me from my response to Runaway. But I never would have considered that for a room's color pallet, that sounds nice.

    White always does feel fresh in a room, I like when it's accented with a very pale blue or gold.

    I'm glad you said live edge wood, I was just thinking an epoxy one of those with the galaxy colors would look tremendous!

    Y'all found some great spots though, such vibrant settings in them! Having the water is also a huge plus. Def jealous.
    The light house one a couple posts down also looked incredible.

    I couldn't relax with metal personally, but the weighted blankets and sunlight sound nice.
