Inappropriate and then banned

edited May 2024 in General

So I had someone book a cuddle with me. We exchanged numbers. They then text me very inappropriately, commenting on my backside and asking for pictures in thong and bra. I reported him and he was banned. He text me laughing at me and saying he already has a new profile up.

    @embrace_love
Shirtless photos like his gym shot are against the rules, and should have been reported.

If you truly mean "text", he shouldn't have had your contact info if he hadn't booked a session, and only "tried" to book one.

If he PM'd you from his new profile, report it. If he texted you, see above.

Either way, this is a matter for the mods. I understand wanting others to know he's non-platonic, but posting other users' photos is against the rules.

    .

  • I think Sunset meant embrace_love. embrace_comfort is a banned person.

I hate that happened embrace_love. Yuck.

  • @achetocuddle
    Good catch, thanks! Fixed.

  • @SunsetSnuggles he did book a session that’s why we were texting

  • @embrace_love
I see you've edited your initial post quite a bit. No longer "tried to book".

If this were a man changing his story, as with the now-deleted thread from this morning where a male was shredded for his inconsistencies when relating his experience with a Pro, you would be getting a much different response.

  • @SunsetSnuggles thanks for pointing that out. I was getting ready to say something.

@embrace_love was there an accepted booking proposal?

  • Yes it was accepted … I should have worded my original post differently. I guess I put tried to book because we never met up

  • @embrace_love
Makes sense. Thank you for clarifying.

In the future, when guys have photos practically exposing their pubic hair, take it as a red flag, and don't book them. His gym photo broke the code of conduct here, and was an indication of a non-platonic vibe.

Hopefully his new account will be easy for the mods, or you, to spot.

@embrace_love I'm so sorry you encountered that awful situation ☹️ and thank you for sharing it. It has happened to me quite often and it's unpleasant and annoying. These creeps (like many in the Internet that hide behind technology) do find a way to just create new accounts to continue with their abusive behavior. Just keep reporting and blocking. Mods do try to do their best to catch the repeat offenders and it helps when we're aware and let them know. You did nothing wrong and should be protected by all of us here. 💖

  • Profiles of banned members should be visible to everyone so we can identify them faster if they create a new account.

  • @Mike403
I agree. I suggested it here a month and a half ago, but received no response.

  • check your search in the area for new cuddlers that match his age and locale. report it

  • They'll be likely be banned again. Mods keep track of the ip address.

There should be a cuddler only section on profiles, where cuddlers can warn each other about bad ppl. Without the offending cuddler knowing.
Edit: pro cuddler only section for karma, I mean. Not that enthusiasts don't have a right to know.

  • @OverTheMooon
The Pro's have their own message board, and yes, I'm told this is a thing. I agree, everyone should have access to that info; banned users trying to come back would be caught much faster.

  • I suspect there are legal issues with some of the suggestions above. Some bans are very well deserved and documented because they are supported by inappropriate messages sent on this site. However, it appears many others are “He said / She said” because the communication was offsite or involved behavior during a cuddle where there were no witnesses other than the 2 parties involved who are telling 2 very different versions of what happened.

To leave a profile (possibly including photos) visible along with one side of the story of what happened could potentially open up this site (or even the person who reported the incident) to a defamation lawsuit.

This site has rules about what constitutes a bannable offense - the equivalent of social media “community guidelines”. However, leaving a banned account visible or having a secret space on a profile where people can talk about a person and say things that person cannot see or respond to would likely create some legal liability.

  • @OverTheMooon , it already exists. I've seen it and was horrified at the things people tried/succeeded to do to get themselves banned. The amount of literal physical abuse that occurs is severely underdiscussed on the public message boards.

  • This is why giving and receiving a hug has become such a murky activity.

  • I know to the people active here. I am speaking the obvious.
Most adults naturally have physical/emotional reactions to being so close to another. But for this site, it is 100% about self control and about being prepared and thinking it through before the session begins, that really does help. It’s a mindset, a choice & a promise to yourself and to the person you’re cuddling with. I really had to learn this, consciously think about it, It’s a process that sounds so simple, but really isn’t always.

  • I’m so sorry that happened to you :(
Unfortunately so many of these banned members just keep coming back.

I have been on and off this site many times. I hoped for change each time I returned. It hasn't happened. I left 4 times before because even after reporting the cuddlers who are certainly not here just for cuddling nothing happens. I recently came back after 6 months and they are still here. My main complaint has been that they will either offer much more than cuddling when you meet or they offer you a discounted price after the first session if you book directly with them. (The latter is very common) With that said, imho, this is why the client did what he did. He was testing the waters to see if he found another escort on the site. I am not defending him but I have a suspicion what his motiviation was. With that said, apparently the company is ok with getting the first cuddling session commission and is forfeiting the future sessions. It puts men in a terrible position during that first cuddling session when they come up against a "professional". It put them in n even worse position when they report it and nothing happens. (Time will tell if the mods have the courage to leave this post up. I live in the Vegas market but I am sure other cities, like LA, etc, are no different where prostitution is often ignored)

  • @JohnR1972 Exactly. Posting banned profiles would be a terrible idea.

  • Someone mentioned potential legal issues, I’m sure that’s probably the determining factor.

  • @achetocuddle - it is good to see you back online. I had not seen much of you over the past several months, but I got busy with a big consulting project back in January and haven’t spent as much time in the forums as I used too. I hope you are doing well 😊

  • @JohnR1972 Always glad to see you on the forum. I'm on it less than I used to be. I'm well:)

  • I think it’s a legal issue as well. But we would also be missing out on new and exciting forms of forum thread—“The How Do You Filter Out the Banned Profiles in a Search” or “I Message the Red X Members All the Time and Never Get a Response Except the Member is Banned.”

You know deep down it would happen.
