Is giving foot massages against the rules?
Answering on the assumption this is a legitimate question, no, it's not against the rules, however, if you are asking it take up a majority of your session or it's in any way even hinted at being fetish related, you will be immediately banned from the site. Most people who ask about anything foot related on the site are generally seeking something fetish related and we are quick to remove them. Additionally, not everyone is going to want you touching their feet, and if you push the subject with someone who has declined in any way, you get banned.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 @netrunner Direct and to the point and so true. If they bring up anything about feet, it’s a definite no for me. I know where they’re going with it.
I love pedis but not a fan of foot rubs myself , too ticklish . I think that there are definitely people with the whole foot fetish in these here parts , so if it's not that then just ask and be prepared to accept no as a full sentence if that's the response .
@pmvines I’m way too ticklish but if the person is clearly not doing it as a fetish, and I’m wearing socks, then maybe. If I could get past the ick part of it, I would probably enjoy it.
As a former massage therapist, I trained to give non-fetishized foot massages (indulging an obvious fetish would have been risking my license) and when I have my LMT work on me--have a standing monthly appointment--I always have him spend five minutes on my feet (don't have a foot fetish myself), and I said all of that in one run-on sentence so bonus points for that!). 😁
Thanks, @netrunner, for the official explanation. That is good to know.
@g_w_t_w Way I see it is if I have to attempt to convince somebody to do something and they have to make all those concessions for it , then it's because they don't want to do it . If it's not good for us both then it's just not good .
It's kind of weird to ask that of a cuddler. Even a massage, beyond just rubbing shoulder or something is kind of a big ask imo.
There are plenty of foot massage places you can go that are a lot cheaper than the average cost of a cuddle.
@cuddling_mke Sure.
Sometimes my feet can hurt if I've been on them for a while and I wonder if a foot massage would help or not. I've yet to have the experience so I am unsure, I could see it not helping since you're just pressing into them again like standing.....but I don't know.
@wilderdude Yes, my feelings exactly. When I was a pro, I was constantly asked if I could give massages. My hands are not strong. I am not a massage therapist so no. But what you describe - shoulder massages, neck, head if not too much pressure - those are all really nice and something I appreciate and will do.
@JasonCuddles I find massage helpful for sore feet. Also, something as simple as standing on a tennis or lacrosse ball and rolling it around the bottom of your foot might help. They make special balls for the purpose with little nubs on them too.
Question for the OP. Can you clarify what you mean? Did you mean, you giving your cuddle partner a foot massage or requesting a foot massage from your cuddle partner. Also, do you mean enthusiast or pro? I know the explanation given by @netrunner apppies to all of the above, I would still like some clarification.
I've asked for and gotten quick back and neck rubs. It was always painfully obvious why I asked, and I never expected more than a few minutes (for one, that takes away from cuddle time). And I like my feet being massaged when I'm at a massage therapist. But no matter how much my feet ache, it would feel too weird to ask for or receive a foot massage from a cuddler.
@Unscented_Lemon
That’s why I asked for clarification. I don’t think I could ever ask anyone other than my wife or an actual massage therapist for a foot rub 🤣
I really don't understand foot fetish, or any fetish for that matter. But the way my feet and back are feeling right now, knock yourself out. I'm not good at massage and would consider offering a foot massage to a cuddle. I might not allow someone to do that if i hadn't had a pedicure recently, because after awhile my feet probably feel the same as the sole of my shoe.
What baffles me the most is how many people experience foot fetish people, i mean if i know any id never know. But the way you guys talk of them they most be out here accosting people feet, tugging on laces all the time 😂. I can appreciate an attractive foot, a nice toe but i ain't checking cuddles out for those types of things anyway. Well that's my 2 left footed opinion.
As a cuddle, seems like would be awkward request for either party to make.
I have multiple medical conditions that I suffer from. One makes my feet bones easily ache, and at times causes me to limp. Only relatively recently have a found a massage therapist that does outstanding foot massage that are gentle enough for me. Feels amazing! For years before this issue, in professional massages I specifically told them not to touch my feet.
Jason, I'm grieving that you've never had a foot massage. Yes, they help! They make your feet feel good whether they hurt or not. Please consider getting one.
Extracted/expanded on from an earlier post...
Feet are such a common fetish that I do not accept foot massages from anyone in the cuddle world. I can't tell you how many group cuddles I've been to where the first question a guy asks me is if he can rub my feet. This is usually a brand new addition to the group, giving themselves away.
I do not automatically assume every such offer is a fetish...it's in the delivery...it's in the context. First meeting? First 30 seconds of that meeting? Red flag. 🚩 These types are usually the ones who also ask if kissing is platonic (true story), who ask if I'm into cuddling because my "boyfriend doesn't keep me satisfied" (true story), and other neon flashing signs of sexual intent. One comment or request doesn't sink someone...tone, context, and patterns do.
So I don't necessarily think negatively, if a guy offers to rub my feet, one time. But I will always decline, no matter how nicely it is asked or offered, and I'll suggest a less questionable alternative.

HIlariously, the very first thought I had upon seeing this question was about when Jesus was said to have washed the disciples' feet. I always thought that was such a beautiful depiction of humility and service.
Having said that, I would never allow anyone, ever, to touch my feet, BUT... I AM a big believer in the benefits of Reflexology. I think if one of my trusted, favorite Cuddlers came to our session with tired, achy feet, I wouldn't have a problem working on them for him, after a quick Epsom Salt/Eucalyptus soak. He'd have to read a story to me while I did it, though!
Personally, I detest feet........mine/yours/anyone else's feet. I always make sure my masseuse knows to never go south of the ankles. I keep well-manicured feet, and YES my toes are ridiculously ticklish, so reflexology is a no go for me. When asked to massage someone else's feet, I have to close my eyes......and let my mind go to something more pleasing than her feet
I hesitate to discuss this in too much detail because the responses will skew off into weird worlds. But ...
Used to have a coworker who had a foot fetish. I mean, powerful strong fetish. He'd regale us with stories about things his wife would let him do involving her feet. The stories were usually hilarious, but I was always mystified as to why the things he described were enjoyable to him ... but to each his own. My point is that I don't understand it at all.
Sometimes a cuddle will involve a backrub, and once in awhile even a footrub, but that's way different than my old coworkers activities. I also have a professional masseuse who I see regularly who does amazing foot massages - there is validity to some of the ideas of reflexology. Anyways, during the cuddle sessions, the pro will invariably tell me about prior experiences where the guy wanted to suck on her toes or something else odd (the LMT has similar stories).
So yes, I understand the reason that asking anything foot-related is a red flag here.
I would never ask for a foot massage from a cuddler but have received a few when offered. Why? Because 9 years ago I fell off a roof and shattered the bones, ruptured tendons and tore ligaments in my foot, ankle and lower shin bone resulting in a hard cast for four months and a soft cast for two more months. I now have arthritis from all the bone fragments floating around so any kind of touch is a brief respite from pain. But request it during a session or as terms for a session? No, as to me that falls under something that is a bit off for a stranger to ask right off the bat. Even when offered I accept and provide context so they are aware that it is a pain thing and not a fetish.
I was at the mall yesterday getting my ears pierced, and I was reminded of this thread and all the talk of foot massages when I saw this sign.
I almost went in and got a foot massage but alas I ran out of time. Will make a point next time! TBH, with all the hiking I've been doing lately, my feet could use some attention from an LMT.
If you go to Littke Saigon in SoCal, There’s a foot massage spot on every block.
There’s foot massage joints everywhere. Anyways that’s between you and your cuddle buddy. Closed mouths don’t get fed. Just ask
Only after we go riverdancing all night long.
@ScroogeMcducky chuckles out loud on that one! 🤣😆🤣
I'm just thankful I have basically no appreciation for foot massages, so that I don't have to worry about being mistaken for someone with a fetish if I were to ask for one 😅
I've never understood foot fetishes. Ive been offered a foot massage by cuddlers before and theres never anything weird with it that I've perceived. I also never even thought that it may have been fetish related. My feet usually hurt like the apocalypse so it was a welcome offer, lol
No foot fetish here, but I do love a good foot massage. They almost always put me fast asleep. It’s almost like there is an “Off switch” that gets turned when my feet are rubbed.
I have given foot massages to cuddle partners when asked. But, it’s not something that would occur to me to offer.
