I saw Fastball in a bar in Dallas. There were around 5 people in the bar total. I thought they were amazing although I had never heard of them before. Couple months later I’m watching the Grammys and I see they were nominated. I was like wait what???
@Morpheus Metallica was my first Arena show too only mine was the next year, Wherever We May Roam. My best friends were huge fans and I had herd a tune or two. This CA transplant showed up at the Worcester Arena in my favorite matching mint green shorts and crop top with sparkley white L.A. Gear high tops. Culture shock! OMG. But that show was so awesome. I still have the shirt that was signed somewhere and maybe the ticket stubb.
My respectable short list: Rush, Pink Floyd, Def Lepard, kid Rock, KISS, Ted Nugent, Heart, The Beach Boys, and Kansas.
@hoping4snugs I used to frequent Chavez park concerts all the time. Lizzo ( b4 her non professional controversy) was BY FAR one of my all time favs. Used to hear the CC sound check music events bumping the high rise I worked in. Plus it was great to skip traffic and hear musical events and eat and rock out before traveling home.

I do feel Sacs music scene is mild as it’s California’s capital and we have massive issues around DOCO keeping anything or anyone safe at nite. Tyler the creator after street party chaos event is a prime example. We’re paying the money but lacking in enforcement. Idk 🤷♀️ why.
Super miss Vans Warped Tours. Ozzy was epic. Met him a few times and half understood him. 😂
Jack White in Reno was pretty fly. Can’t recall the venue.
Aftershock is my favorite. 🤩 cannot wait and pray for no temps over 90 this year. Last year I melted for 4 days straight. A girl passed out in front of me and I helped catch her. That’s how hot it was. Hydration is no joke at these events. Cypress hill and Fall Out Boy are def on my list to rock out with. Literally screamed for half a day when they released the whole lineup which changed a little bit since , but it’s still one of the best lineups I’ve seen since vans warped tour has become no more.
I work a few events and have a live nation crew of people do that helps bankroll my personal concerts.
The Bay has a huge music scene and many friends are in many genres of bands. So I get free entry to photog and document for their socials.
Tower Records was huge here but is no more. So I have contacts from that industry too.
My camping preference is glamping or hotel camping atm in my life. Too many cougars aka mountain lions and maybe 🤔 Bigfoot Descendants be cruising around in that area. They hungry. 😋 😂 Plus the dust and heat are not my jam for 3-4 full days.
BR was car camping and I think my back still hurts.

@SunshineHug Wow you are deep in it. hhmmm saw AJR at Chase Center in SF. Before that Gary Newman at Ace. In 2020 I caught the Fitz and the Tantrums at Ace...so good it was my last show before Covid. I never make the park shows, to far from work. I haven't gone to Aftershock since they were at Gibson Ranch. It is kinda sad I'm struggling to think of shows I've been to. I had a car accident in 2016 that affected my memory. I used to drive around or just park trying to remember my destination. Saw U2 in Oakland, Billy Brag at the community theater, Dan Zane out at Davis, Blue October, Pearl Jam in San Jose, I went this 80's thing in Roseville because Modern English was playing. Duran Duran up at Harvey's in Tahoe. NKOTB (that's right) at G1, Maroon 5 at G1. But that doesn't capture all the bar bands I have just happened upon. In short. Music is awesome! Maybe I'll bump into you sometime. I end up at Ace of Spades like every three months (Shady Lady too). I'm the old fat lady hobbling around looking for a seat that eventually some nice young person gives to me.

Anyway, I have attended Def Lepard, Foreigner, Styx, Korn, Rob Zombie, Tina Turner (so glad to catch her last concert back in 2008, Lol!😄 AND I was pregnant at the time too. Oh whenever, Tina hit those high notes I swear my son was headbutting me in the womb. Lol! Good times!😄😛😜), Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed concerts.

I also enjoy going to local/nearby venues to check out cover bands as well, SOME of them are pretty good and actually sound like the actual bands they're imitating.😊

My favorite cover band that I enjoy seeing is BackNBlack, they're a cover for AC/DC. They sound just like AC/DC to me, I really enjoy watching them whenever they cruise through Gainesville. 😁👍

@BrianOcean Yeah, seeing Led Zeppelin would have been wonderful. I did see Robert Plant and he did not disappoint.
@achetocuddle The older I get the more I enjoy there music and realize there will never be another band with such a mystical aura about them. They were truly one of a kind.
Robert Plant solo is amazing- I saw him [not live unfortunately] with Alison Krauss and they had amazing chemistry together. She sung the Battle of Evermore wth him and it was absolutely fantastic. That is not an easy song for any one to just jump in and sing -it was like she was a former member of Led Zeppelin
@BrianOcean Led Zep was the definition of unique. Alison Krauss is very talented and she and Plant together were an inspired genius duet, even tho that style of music is far from my fave. Now I have to know if you like Heaven Knows or Ship of Fools, 2 of my faves. And Kashmir is fantastic I think.
If I had been born 10 years earlier and lived in California with parents that were not strict (a lot of ifs, lol) I would have seen Led Zep and so much more.
Ship of Fools for sure and Kashmir of course I have to admit it's been some time since I heard Heaven Knows-but I remember it from the Late 80's
Ramble on and Over the Hills and Far Away are some of my favorites as well as No Quarter-but I can go on and on.
The great thing about Led Zeppelin is they have so many Songs that almost 50 years later you can still find something you did'nt hear all the time on the radio.
I've almost decided that Heaven Knows is a "girl's song", lol. It's no guy's favorite. Ramble On is really good and I forget half of the titles I like. I'm not a music connoisseur or even a music lover, just a music liker. But there is just something about Led Zep. That is one timeless band. And if you actually listen to all the words (or read them if you are like me and don't understand all of them) the songs are just so impressive.
