How do I send a "Friend Request"? Explain like I'm FIVE...lol

I should, you're right. Anyway...

Will someone PLEASE explain to me the process of sending a "Friend Request"???? There are a few folks here that I want to let know that their words and insights are over here LIGHTING ME UP... And I want to have some sort of special, cyber connection with them!!

    On their profile, click on the 3 dots.

    Oh sure. On their profile, tap/click the icon with the three dots. It’s to the right of the Message and Favorites button under their username. In that overflow menu, you will see the option to add them as a friend.

    @Fematheist you cannot send messages to people who are muted, if you haven't previously DM them. (I tried to DM sillysassy earlier today, but wasn't able to because we haven't communicated that way before.)
