Horse drugs!

I just noticed that my place of employment stocks intravenous oxytocin for horses.
All this time on this site and we could have been injecting hugs directly into our veins all along!

  • That's wild

  • I think it helps with giving birth, they give it to humans too

  • @Matt462 Yeah, that's what my research says. I'd wondered why none of our current psychiatric meds don't go after such a wonderful chemical, when they already have ones that modify dopamine, serotonin, et al. All sorts of challenges with getting it into the brain, alas. Not to mention that it'd be horrifically addictive. Bottled love? The mind boggles.

  • No, thanks. I'd rather get mine from a femme rather than a bottle.

  • Hugging a horse is also an extremely powerful oxytocin fix.

If you have not had the opportunity-you should definitely try it. Horses love hugs-

Donkeys also-They can be even easier to hug at times.

Find the right horse and proceed with caution-

Really no different than finding the right cuddle partner and probably much less complex.

  • The Horse will probably want a photo-
    The Donkey is more easygoing.

  • It's funny I was actually researching this earlier. Not the horses, but the idea of whether or not oxytocin was addictive. And that it was available as an injectable but still not replicated in a way that reproduces brain scan activity of actual oxytocin produced by the body.

@BrianOcean Hug a horse, save a cowboy? Sorry, I'm going to hell.
The thread titles had me giggling before I clicked and I still have "You're so Vain" stuck in my head. Halp.

I've cuddled with femmes (though not yet any femme enbies). On the masc side, though, I've only cuddled a masc enby. But there's a cis masc I'm hoping to cuddle with soon, so I'll have more data points for comparison.

I fed a donkey once, but the electric fence didn't allow for cuddles, so I'll take your word for it @BrianOcean

@AimeeJ lol. I have the song in my head, too, ever since that post showed up earlier

I live in such a dark little world!!! lol When I saw the title, I ran in here to holler about the dangers of Tranq/Xylazine!!! My "Chicken Little" impersonation on high alert!!! lol @AimeeJ ~ I'ma go right on down there with you! lol

This, however, is SOOOOO much better!! Although since I'm a needle-screamer, I think I'll stick to the hope of being squeezed by large, hairy, hyper-verbal, rough-handed, broad-shouldered Squeezers/Cuddlers!!!

  • My nickname is horse believe it or not. I am definitely coming in for some of those intravenous cocktails.
