Omg @lonelytauros I love that. Saving.
Interesting thread and I appreciate hearing from each one of you. Regarding SunsetSnuggles wondering about how much tax cheating may go on here, I figure no more than what goes on in any other place. I figure it's about the same as disability fraud, worker's comp fraud, frivolous lawsuits, theft, embezzlement, etc. I have no way to know of course, but I have a feeling the percentages wouldn't vary wildly.

An amazing development
See the OP's second Karma
Edit: the second negative Karma was removed. Our OP still won't make her case here
Ok mods she’s gotta go
(Moderator) Just so people know, relationship status is hidden on all pro accounts as far as I can tell. I know this because whenever I have to edit a profile, I see they always have it filled in from when they created their account, but once they become a pro it becomes hidden. I don’t know why but that seems to be the way it is.
This is the first time I saw her profile-
She is cute kid and I won't pile on-She's heard enough already
My advice if she is reading is- GIve up cuddling and go be with your Husband-You are a young lady-and I don't mean that condescendingly or sarcastically.
(Moderator) Before you grab your pitchforks, just know her response seems legit to that karma (he never sent her an address despite being asked multiple times) and the client was displaying some red flags. I removed it.
The client has 3 great Karma!
@hgrubbs95
A word from you would be welcome
@LionsFan I wouldn’t put too much stock in karma.
This site should ban people in a relationship and encourage you not to be here if you're not single. I dont see how cuddling is okay outside a relationship no matter what platonic spin is put to it. Complete BS.
@warmthSpreadd
Lots of single people are in long term relationships. Some married people are separated. Some married people have open relationships. Your idea would take a small problem and create a bigger one.
Separated people are technically single. And open relationship isn't considered a relationship in my definition of relationship when i wrote that
@warmthSpreadd If it's not platonic when you're in a relationship, it's not platonic when you're single. The issue here is honesty and consent, not societal rules. As long as no one is getting hurt, what other people do in their relationships is no concern of mine. Well, unless they invite me in, of course.
I like the new username. Any particular reason, @IronLemon ?
As long as no one is getting hurt,
This is the key word. I find it hard to imagine a closed relationship where your partner being on this site wouldn't hurt you. This site should actively find ways to diacourage cheating. Even if its platonic, its not something you'd be okay with your partner going around and being in a room one on one with the opposite gender or the gender of their preference.
I find it hard to imagine a closed relationship where your partner being on this site wouldn't hurt you.
If you can imagine an open relationship, you can imagine a closed relationship where at least one partner is ok with the other person cuddling people.
Me, I don't have to imagine it. I've seen it.
I attended a talk someone did about how relationships, open, closed, or however you want to describe it, are all about communication, honesty, boundaries, and consent. If you think about it, the only difference between open and closed relationships are where the boundaries are.
But the real point of that was the opening line, their slogan. "Traditional relationships are the intellectual property of the patriarchy."
I have already posted enough [for some it was much more than enough] on this topic about Married Cuddlers-I am not going to rehash it.
I have to respectfully and totally disagree with you. Asking the site to Ban Adults who make a decison to cuddle is not a site I would ever support.
We all have choices to make and asking "The Site" to do it for us is not the answer.
This site should actively find ways to diacourage cheating
Who is cheating?
I’m wondering (I don’t have time to count) how many Pros are on this site, Worldwide?? Thousands maybe?
I would be more than shocked if any One Person active on this forum has personal experience with the vast majority of them and knows their actual relationship status personally. The vast majority of people I actually know irl are single, so it just depends on personal experience. And the vast majority of the married people I know would likely never even consider going outside of their marriage for cuddling. Lol (Demographics and our circle of friends & family).
@warmthSpreadd The site wouldn't last five minutes if they did what you suggested, #1. #2, how can they tell if someone is married or not, or what the state of that relationship is? All they can go by is what the member tells them. So if they said "No married people!" everyone would just say they were single.
Also, frankly, it is not the site's job to "discourage cheating" any more than it is Match or eHarmony's job to do that. The site facilitates meetings between strangers. It is not here to teach moral lessons. It's a business.
Too much drama.
@warmthSpreadd Yeah what you suggest is not remotely possible. Cheating isn’t even illegal. I don’t know how you think we would enforce something like that. Pros do not work for cuddle comfort. The site is like classifieds to connect people for platonic cuddling. If they have sex and it is reported, then we can take action, but how we could know someone is cheating isn’t something this site is equipped for. But if you find out a way, by all means make a site for it. I’d love to see what you come up with.
I cheat at Scrabble. Every letter can be a blank, if you turn it over. Keeps me busy enough.
Our OP is now TEMPORARILY PAUSED
The reason for the suspension is a very common one among pros and has nothing to do with their interaction/behavior on the site.
@Lion13 and now... deactivated
Well... Maybe paused and deactivated are interchangeable. Clicking on the profile shows paused. But I added her profile to my favorites awhile back to see what would happen, and there it shows "de-activated". 🤔
@donhulio
Same results here. Paused is often a credit card issue
