  • yep that what happens....kind of a funny glitch

  • Haha yeah that is what I saw as well. It doesn’t convert while in edit mode so it’s easy to see why that would be a bit jarring 😅

  • thanks Charlie.....as a privacy enthusiast I appreciate the clarity haha

  • Oh no prob at all ☺️

I forgot about overnights! 😴 I've done a handful with very close cuddle friends.

They are not my favorite. Sleeping near anyone feels extremely vulnerable, especially for someone who's paranoid, like I am.

I also prefer meaningful conversation and active cuddling, to being unconscious beside someone. Quality Time is my number one Love Language, so I would always prefer conscious connection, to sleep. The flipside just never made sense to me, honestly. 🤷🏻‍♀️

But yes, as far as overnights go, my longest was four days with a close cuddle friend, with overnight cuddles. It was lovely. But my preference will always be daytime, bright-eyed, bushy-tailed cuddles and deep talks. ☀️🌳😊

  • Yes - great post
Two hours is the best - always
Depending on the person , longer but chemistry is key for me

  • Regardless of the length of a cuddle session, I do like the practice of having a shared wind down period. A little stretching, a verbal check in...one last song to listen to, a fresh beverage, what ever suits. It reminds me of when you get off a boat or plane and your body needs to reorient itself with solid ground!

The overnights are the best. There's so much wonderful connectivity going on including the activity that @Auroradream mentioned. Refreshments, watching movies, sharinge a meal, taking a nap.

All of that awesomeness can also happen during the day, without having to sleep, afterward. 😊 I love doing all of those things and many more, but the sleeping for eight hours bit is what pushes me, personally, away from overnights.

Who sleeps for 8 hours during an overnight when there is cuddler present? There are times when I have left a cuddle partner alone in bed and exited the room so that she can get a deeper sleep. I would then join her at a later time.

  • yea, I had the same question....not me!

Many Pro's require a minimum of six hours of sleep during overnights. Their job isn't worth sleep deprivation.

I'm not a Pro, and if I'm doing an overnight with a cuddle friend, we both sleep like normal. 😄

But I can certainly understand that if you're paying for it, you wouldn't necessarily want to sleep. Though some men specifically desire to hold a woman and sleep.

If I were hiring a Pro, it would definitely be for active daytime cuddling, not for them to sleep my money away. 🤑 Like I said, I just don't get the appeal of overnights. I'd rather spend time together, conscious and engaged in meaningful conversation. 😊

  • @SunsetSnuggles I love overnights. I don't get to do nearly enough of them, actually. For me, it's not about sleeping my money away, it's about the soothing calmness that allows for a deeper sleep. For an insomniac like me, having someone there is so much more comforting than sleeping alone. And it's much more natural than taking pills or listening to a white noise machine.

I get that. When my boyfriend is out of town for work, I wind up staying up really late, because it just feels weird to go to bed alone, and I don't sleep well.

I just don't share that connection and trust with cuddlers. I'd rather spend waking hours with them.

Though as I said earlier, I've done overnights with half a dozen cuddle friends, the longest of which was four days straight. I enjoyed them all, it's simply not my preference. 😊

Why are you concerned about how people spend their money and about what activities go on during an overnight ? Each situation is unique unto its own, and depends upon the uniqueness of the woman and what she brings to the experience of cuddling.

The purpose of this thread is convey the idea that there is never enough time in the day for the precious moments when a man and a woman (from my perspective) can share intimacy and vulnerablity without judgment.
