Hi! New to this and just wondering when discounts are offered generally and how much they are! Someone offered to get a room since I don’t feel comfortable hosting and he is staying w a friend. He suggested 3 hours for the price of 2 and I would really appreciate any guidance. Thanks 😊

    @Frenchtoast83 - Many pros offer discounts for more than one hour to encourage a longer session. You can look at other pros near your area to see what they are offering.

    Totally depends on your comfort level. Do you have to drive far to get to this hotel he booked? Making $160 is better than nothing and he could be an awesome cuddler. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️
    Just make sure to meet in public first, get his picture and name before meeting, and make sure he knows there’s to be no funny business.

    Excellent advice from @Mike403 and @Sheena123.

    Pricing and discounts are entirely a matter for you. I suggest structuring your pricing to encourage the kind of sessions that YOU want, and therefore make the kind of sessions you are less keen on (too long, too short, whatever) more lucrative. A two hour session is barely more work than a one hour session - same preparation, same risk, same travel, same admin, same messaging beforehand, etc.

    Your client's suggestion is perfectly reasonable.

    If someone books a room to be able to host; then that is ok to offer a discount to compensate, but if they have a room and it wasn’t booked to cuddle with you, then I don’t know about that. To me (just as a member, not with my mod hat on) that sounds like they are trying to take advantage of you.

    @Frenchtoast83, many women will add an additional 30-60 min free if the client is paying out of pocket for a hotel room, but it’s totally up to you whether you’re comfortable with such a large discount (that’s 33%, which is a lot). There is nothing wrong with saying no and sticking to your normal hourly rate.

    Most cuddlers who do a multi-hour discount start with 10-15% off for a 3-hr cuddle. It just comes down to what it’s worth to you.
